5hat rock had fizzy noise on the edge of the signal, that was an indicator it wa not gold.A rare earth salt shaker pick up tool would save a lot of time on most magnetic hot rocks and ferrous items.😮 great hunt ,are you still using the deus to hunt for gold today?thankyou 😊😊😊

Using the xy screen eliminates a lot of digging for iron or ironstone, just a glance will let you know if the signal is iron or not. Good video, looks similar ground to what we have here in Victoria Australia but I think we have more ironstone and bullets, bloody bullets.😄

I have a question, have you ever re-ground balanced over a hot rock while it was still in the ground to see if it would ground out the hot rock. I hear in some machines it will ground out the hot rock and some machines it won't.

Yes you can ground balance over a hot rock and ignore it. However, other hot rocks with different properties and the ground will now be heard. So it's best to ground balance on a clean piece of ground to start with. As you move you will most likely need to ground balance again when your machine gets noisy. Generally speaking hot rocks are picked up with most VLF machines so you just have to work around them.
