We continue with our series about living life “On Purpose," being intentional in spending our time on earth. Our sense of purpose flows strongly from our sense of identity. Who we are is rooted in who God is, and who He says we are. The fullest, most authentic life available to us is a life “in Christ,” a phrase that Paul uses repeatedly to describe our unique position both now and forever. All the good things about who we are don’t amount to much more than a hill of beans if they don’t yield a life transformed by the love that’s poured out upon us. We do not have the strength to power such a life, but God does. Today we look at the empowerment we CAN walk in if yielded to the Spirit, as well as at His brilliant plan to equip each of us differently to build each other up, remind each other of who we really are, and spur one another on toward a life that loops in love, kind deeds, and sharing the amazing news available to every person on the planet.
