A cheap way to secure your u-lock to your bike frame using Scotch brand bundle straps. The straps cost about $5 at the hardware store. #bikehack #bikelock #ulock
This is excellent! After watching a dozen bike lock mount installation videos, I've found your video and I even have these very straps in my garage! Thanks a million
It’s such a problem and I’m very surprised that a largeish company like Kryptonite has not engineered a solid, bulletproof solution for it. Pathetic. I do need quick release because I ride around historic cities in Poland where there’s just a ton of things to see and lovely coffee shops to stop at so I’m constantly tying up and untying my bike. I use a cable lock because Poland is a safe place but for a really expensive bike I’d like to have a Kryptonite lock. I wonder if it would not be easier to solve the problem if the two parts of the lock were carried separated.

Velcro for the win !
Good idea. For me, what I did was use bungee cords. Works well.
Not a bad idea. I use those for tons of other things so I have a bunch around...
Good work. Is the trek 730 a classic bike?
