I had no idea Japan was so affordable to live in until a couple months ago. I saw people renting apartments for $400 - $700 and I even saw people buying houses for $6,000 - $30,000. I was always fascinated with the country but learning this was all I needed. I am now studying the language and plan to move there in a few.years.
im glad you plan on moving to japan in a few years! I am a huge advocate to moving to Japan and learning and getting accustomed to actual reasonable cost of living prices! I come from washington DC and its super expensive, i feel liberated living here!
To be honest as an Indian who was born and RAISED inside the United States (Las Vegas btw) life in the United States is personally amazing and wonderful asf but I get it how sometimes life may kinda be tough and struggling (somewhat) a bit here too… but Japan is lowkey a good place to live in too honestly but in my opinion since I never really lived in any other nation except for the US and a bit (India) but I never rlly liked it much a lot there, hope you do well in college in Japan though… all the best 🎉
Yeah each country has their pros and cons, and I agree that there are many great things about the US, I miss it sometimes. I will probably be back, but I know Japan is perfect for me right now in my life :)
Damn that's expensive... I pay like $1K and do as many credits as I can. You're doing 2 more years or a whole 4 years? I would say average $24K for a BS, anything more is a rip off. My friend pays $6K per semester, for like around 2 years since he pays cheap at a community college.
@@ngyncamu np. I just hear lots of stories from young Americans who, like yourself, want to explore and learn new cultures while furthering studies in academia (especially those with a spark of passion for other cultures), but you are limited due to not being 'native' or 'local'. I also hear how slight misunderstandings in culture can go wrong fast. Good luck, study hard and have fun being in the SOURCE of all things anime, mecha and food! P.S. Once you try the REAL ramen...you'll never go back 🤣
