i walked clockwise and the ruins were near the front end of my hike . I walk 3 miles a day but the loop kicked my butt. I'm practicing on inclines now and will be prepared next time I tackle this trail. I am 65. i'm glad you did the loop now you shared in my pain !! LOL !!

How are you guys not sweating. I would be dying huffing n puffying. My shirt would be drenched i sweat alot. Good for you guys for finishing you two r too cute
I know its a long long drive for you, but 30 years ago I hiked through 3 miles of Redwood trees and ended up at Pacific ocean (Redwood NAtional Forest). It was like "The land that time forgot", with huge trees everywhere (8-15 foot diameter) and giant ferns (10-20 feet tall). Even today, no theme park immersion can replicate how my friend and I felt shrunk down to one foot tall

@@FIVEFIRES my personal favorites are Beach Foot, Bishop Peak, Islay Hill and Bob Jones trail. Bob Jones trail is all flat and paved but it offers great views and you end up in Avila Beach, which has an awesome beach boardwalk with great restaurants, shops and libations.
Great video! Eaton canyon is a pretty easy hike and a waterafall at the end too 👍👍
