Late to the party but I just can’t help but comment that those Sochong-Su stationed in that town were amazing! If this was real world, there would be a monument in that village in the future with the names of the members of that Sochong-Su unit engraved in there. Movies would be made about them!
Great job Vulcan. Your brave infantry held their ground to the last man at Wonju. I wish you would have had CAS or heavy artillery support at Wonju. Maybe you should get a artillery unit to help you or the 152nd attack squadron of South Korean Air Force.
or tried bombing the incoming enemy with airstrike or artillery barrage while cut off the enemy reinforcements from behind. Less risky but require perfect timing.
Nice one. That last battle at the town was insane, those Sochong-Su went down like heroes, too bad their medals will be posthumous. I think the only thing you could have done better would have been employing more mortars, one constantly smoking the town, another shelling the terrain just north of the town sector. Some HE shells raining down towards the end could have killed/stunlocked the onrushing surge of Bochongsu and maybe saved your infantrymen.

Vulcan-When they arty spam your tank move it, that lost you a few precious K-1’s that you could use later against the T-90’s. Better yet send a hunter killer team (autocannon recon + a K-1) to kill the arty?
Damn, our battles are so entertaining to watch, because you're so good at this game I beat this campaign sometime ago, with lots of savescumming and very slow missions
I wonder if reatreating on the two provinces south of Seoul would be worthwhile. You could trap enemy troops by putting helicopters on the region behind to prevent them retreating.

Basically slaughtered an entire infantry regiment and a tank company, while only losing one MBT and a few dudes with APCs

Why weren't you counterbatterying the enemy artillery with your mortars at Wonju? Did they not have the range?

Those two infantry units should get medal of honor for holding unstoppable enemy troop.
you can spawn a few small boats even without naval sector charlie just in the beginning of the river on the left in sector daejeon.
