@@LovelyDrink-zl7em the rear differential and transmission are the same on this until. I thought the same thing at first. Very interesting design but when changing the rear differential you are changing the transmission fluid as well.
No need to spend Polaris price for an oil change. Fram if I remember correct makes the filter (CH6096) and oil use T6 5w-40. Polaris does not make oil change products they label them polaris and mark it up 600% lol. Good video !
Can you explain why I'm seeing 2 different style oil filters? I see the hidden one you are doing and a screw in one. Any idea why there's 2 different kinds?
@@pauldulac8506 Im not sure where to find it on the machine but in my manual it has the ETX separate from the 570. So if you bought an ETX I would be pretty confident that it has a 325cc motor in it. I don’t think the ETX comes with a bigger motor. But I would have to research that to see if it could be bought with different options.
Thank you. The socket size info was super helpful
Glad it helped! Thanks
Very helpful! Now need transmission maintenance!

Thank you for thorough procedure. Your Video was the only one that showed the smaller filter. Thanks again.

My opinion is that it’s different for the different engine sizes. All I know for sure is that the ETX uses the cartridge style oil filter.
@@SouthernIndianaOutdoors and the one your doing is the 570?
@@pauldulac8506 No, its the ETX. The ETX is the 325cc
@@SouthernIndianaOutdoors ohhhhhh. Oh boy. Maybe the one I got isn't a 570.... do you know where to find the engine size on the machine?

Do you have a problem with you ETX overheating?
I’ve never noticed it overheating. What is your temp gauge normally reading?
