This guy's playing is always so clean yet insane. I'm really not sure why he doesn't get more recognition. He elevates every band that he is in to the next level. Sianvar, A Lot Like Birds, they are all lucky to have him. Truly a drummer's drummer.
Joe is simply incredible. He makes his incomprehensibly complex drum patterns seem so simple. Not to mention his incredible limb dexterity and agility. Unbelievable work, and a criminally underrated artist
You are probably my favorite drummer. The way to switch beat accents to where it's hard for me to even count is always so cool to me. You have a very unique style, which can be hard in drums.
His stamina along with his memory pairing with the limb independence is truly impeccable. Truly. Joe, you did it. You are an icon and you did it well. By not taking yourself seriously. My biggest inspiration.
If there was ever a person you could refer to as "rudimentary" without it being an insult, Joe is the fucking guy. Dude is like a dictionary of sticking.
It for sure is, especially with this song. I give the edge to Joseph, not because he's better per se. Jon is insane. I just think Joseph has such a unique style of constantly switching beat accents and emphases which I find very intellectually satisfying.
You are my favorite drummer of all time. And I know a lot of drummers dude lol you are amazing in both a lot like birds and sianvar... 2 of my favorite bands coincidentally.
Fucking amazing dude! You're a phenomenal player and an inspiration. Writing style is so unique and the rest of the band only tops it off. And can't wait to hear more from Coda and this series!
Tremendo! Muchas gracias por subir esto. Mi canción favorita de sianvar y una de mis baterías favoritas de todos los tiempos. / Thanks a lot for upload this, my favorite song from sianvar and one of my favorite drum parts from all times.
@Adrian Saldana It’s in 4/4 completely I think, but he’s moving the accents a lot so it’s really difficult to follow. Edit: actually some parts sound like they end in 7/8 and go back to 4/4. And others sound like they finish in 9/8. I have no idea lol.

Got to talk to him after his set with Sianvar in Toronto. He's a Humble and nice person. Joe deserves much more attention.
Hands down one of the best drummers in prog rock rn. Its apparent hes had some type of training, which results in his clean and creative playing.
If there was ever a person you could refer to as "rudimentary" without it being an insult, Joe is the fucking guy.
Dude is like a dictionary of sticking.
Dude... you are literally TOO good at drumming. Making you my all time favorite drummer. You kill it, in everything you do. Love all your music bro.
Super well played and very good sounding kit!
Joe, your effortless movement between voicings never ceases to amaze me. Such a killer video
This was one of those songs I thought was pretty good but after watching this video I can't get my jaw off the floor.
INCREDIBLE sound and creativity. Well done, Mr. Arrington.
INSANE mind blowing talent
He makes it look so easy like it's just a warm-up routine for him.
1:32 Dude what the fuck! lmao
Oh man, the Tom sound is amazing….
Great playing, I’m so glad I found this video!
The Deloused in the Comatorium influence is huge.

Spotless playing! A clinic on Clean.

You know what's funny?
Sianvar has two drummers.
One just doesn't play.
