Only one thing wrong, I live in PA and have a “Driving Season”from April or May until October or November. The DOT puts anti-skid materials, salt and little stones on the road and I refuse to mess up my undercarriage and paint with that Crap on the roads!

@@curtpark4316No actually they're more reliable because they build enough of these cars to work out the bugs and Kinks. They don't build enough Ferraris to work out the bugs and Kinks of each model. The only thing is they do use solid carbon fiber bodies on a lot of their models and you know they have a better flush fitment for the wheels and tires and suspension height for Ferraris but you know as far as like the actual fit and finish yes they do have a little bit nicer fit and finish but no Ferraris are not built as well as Corvette because Corvette they build them as a daily driver. Corvettes and Porsche 911s are built and high enough numbers to work out the bugs and I like that I don't like when they artificially inflate the price by making three or four hundred cars and then Jack in the price of a half a million dollars. It's not fair to the consumer when the car is not really worth that much. That's why I would never own a Ferrari or Lamborghini or anything like that. They're overpriced
I was there yesterday. Spent a lot of time getting in an out of the cars and trying to find seat adjustments while not spending too much time at any one time as there were short lines of people and kids who wanted to pretend they could ever afford one. All were coupes with the roof panel off. I am not tall nor heavy and it was difficult getting in an out. You should have the seat all the way back to get in and out. No grab bar on the windshield post. The comp seats are quite snug and bottom bolsters not adjustable for width. I asked about the 1064 HP number why was it not rounded to 1065 or 1060 assuming that more than one car would be tested for the rating...no one knew of the four staff members. Maybe the ratings are from one car. One person said that production number was not limited but based on demand. The other staff members did not know. I would go for the ZR1 in the colors of the displayed Z06 that was Sebring Orange with Habenero orange interior...I love that orange paint from the C7 and the Habenero interior works well. I was told that the ZR1 would be delivered starting this February.
We heard February as well (I think Rick Conti mentioned that). And I believe the 1,064 number is effectively where they tapped out when the team went for testing. The real goal was to beat the Dodge Demon 170, which they more than accomplished.
I'm excited to see them race when the ZR1 comes out. I suspect the Z is going to be easier to launch repeatedly, but talented drivers will be required regardless!

you know something i've always wondered and i'd rather comment it here and get a response later is, why performance cars don't have turbine shaped rims so that as they rotate they can suck in air and that can be used as a brake cooling mechanism? someone explain why this isn't a thing. maybe it is idk.
My guess is that it adds too much turbulence which isn’t good for aerodynamics, it also adds spinning resistance to each tires. Another thing it just sucks in warm dirty air from the pavement which will eventually gunk up the cars braking and suspension parts.

@@David-jh8mp no so the spinning motion of the wheels itself is the turbine, just change the shape of the rims to suck in air. Effectively cooling the brakes passively no?
Just think... these dealers were tacking 100K on the Demon 170s before learning they had engine issues. Just think what dealers will mark these cars up to. They will be in the same stratosphere of the Ford GTD 300K+ EASY

Total BS. I got my 2LZ z06 this summer, it turns heads and people come up to ask about the car all the time when out in public. Its by far the most exotic looking corvette and the performance on tap trounces many of those other supercar brands.
I like the car but the wheels and tires would have to go in the garbage. I would have to go get a pair of forgedlite tf5 wheels with the correct offset because those Wheels and Tires Factory do not fit that car I bet there's 2 in of wheel Gap between the wheel and the fender. The wheels and tires do not fit that car and they need to be flushed all the way around

The wide body Corvettes look great....you might prefer particular Ferraris, Lamborghinis or McLarens at several times the price but the cars are certainly not ugly. Yes, I like the SF 90.
