Awesome we love the prom had a wombat in our camp , Fairy cove is also amazing, and the Southernmost point of Australia is there it's a 2 day hike , the lighthouse is also available 😊
Great video, it’s interesting, if you’re from Melbourne like I am, nature lovers know and appreciate this place but many people never go here, the beaches are some of the best in the state. I think it’s because it’s in a national park, takes a long drive just from entering the park and no shopping strips , or town close by. But I think that’s what keeps it special to!
Another amazing vlog, hello Mr Wombat! The oceans surrounding Wilson’s Prom can be so rugged, we Victorians have so many nature type places to visit, amazing wildlife you captured on video, cheers from Downunder ❤️🦘🦘🦘🇦🇺
Never too old guys keep doing what you are doing ... sure beats staying at home looking out the window eh !!!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU TWO INSPIRE THIS OLD FELLA TO GET OUT THERE ....
Comments like these mean the world to us, thank you Max. That’s it, even if it’s only a walk down to the local park, there’s nothing like the power of nature. Have a great Christmas 🧡
Very enjoyable to watch. Perhaps you could get some special sliding down rocks pants with padding to protect the backs of your legs and bottom😀. It’s becoming a feature like Nigel dives.
Thanks so much Jeanie, Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones too. Thanks for watching and we look forward to entertaining and inspiring you again in 2024.
Hey Dennis, I'm so sorry, I saw your message and kept forgetting to ask Nigel. I've just asked him and will respond with a l!nk in Messenger for you. Thanks for watching, we appreciate you!
Yes I think they are. I guess I saw them as a kid (I grew up near Bacchus Marsh) but I’ve lived in Queensland over 25 years and I don’t think they come up here
Did you explore Venus Bay whilst in the area. Wilson's Prom is a lovely place to explore. Always peaceful but yes, the weather is always unpredictable on the coast!
Great video Nigel and Sue what is the fuel consumption per 100 km you get out of your Mercedes Benz Sprinter Camper Van and How many layers of clothes do you have to wear since me and Elena are planning on visiting Tasmania with our Mercedes Benz Sprinter Camper Van in roughly 2029/2030 in the March/April Season and have you seen any whales on the great ocean road and Bremer bay and what types of whales were they. I have seen Humpbacks, Southern Rights, Orcas, Sperms and Pilot whales in Western Australia and Bremer Bay and I have also seen Belugas and Minkes in Norway
G'day! We get just under 13 litres per 100km. Our van is a 4x4 and weighs just under 4.5 tonne. Our Tassie Content will start in a couple of weeks, so you'll get to see how many layers we need then. We are not sure yet! Sadly, we have not seen a single whale in the 3 years we have been driving around Australia. I think Nigel may have seen them when he was flying over the Bight, and I saw them off the coast of Brisbane years ago. But not on this trip. Thanks for being along for the ride.
Definitely wouldn’t go there at this time of year! But it was nice to go when it was quieter. The quiet off the beaten track places are our favourites too.
Hey friends! This week we explore Wilson’s Prom, one place everyone said we have to visit. But will we see any wombats?
There's a hidden beach , Refugee Cove. My favourite place in Wilson's Prom. 6 hrs bush walking could reach there
❤ the Nigel dance 😂 thank you so much for the videos and your shared travelling experience 😊
He’s a crack up! Wait till you see his latest dance!
Lovely spot guys. Must get back there sometime soon. Cheers from Wagga.
👍👍merry Christmas and safe travels for the new year
Thanks David! Seasons greetings to you too.

So many good spots down there. We aren’t set up for multi-day hikes at this point… maybe next lap haha

We had the same view from Mount Oberon when we did it , the mist lifted and WOW !!
In some ways I think we were luckier to see it like that. It was so spectacular when the mist lifted

Haha I’m so worried I’m going to rip my pants!! Good to know I’m developing a signature move too. Merry Christmas to you and Stephen!
Nice sharing and nice adventure 😀 ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching
@@nigelandsueadventures yeah i enjoyed it a lot and you're most welcome
Just a spectacular view when that cloud cleared. Nice to see the wombats and the echidna as well. 😊🤗
It kind of made the experience even better. And I think our luck has turned when it comes to spotting wildlife
Great video once again guys, have yourselfs a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.
Thanks so much Jeanie, Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones too. Thanks for watching and we look forward to entertaining and inspiring you again in 2024.
G'day Nigel and Sue, sent you a comment in messenger about your camera clip.
Lovin the videos

@@nigelandsueadventures As long as you are putting out videos, I'll be watching. Thank you both so much
I’m from Melbourne, Is wombats more common in Victoria? As you’ve never seen a wombat.
Yes I think they are. I guess I saw them as a kid (I grew up near Bacchus Marsh) but I’ve lived in Queensland over 25 years and I don’t think they come up here

No we didn’t Lee, we were on a bit of a timeframe to get to New Zealand for Nigel’s birthday. Happy Christmas!
@@nigelandsueadventures Happy Birthday Nigel and Merry Xmas to you both x
Wombats, kangaroos, and echidna, plus crazy birds we only see in the zoo. This American would have been over the moon. Merry Christmas!
Oh even we were over the moon! Our luck seems to have turned when it comes to spotting wildlife!

Those “popular “ places are the very ones I avoid!
