I really don't understand how Busta isn't ever mentioned in the GOAT status. Man has been consistently high level from early 90s. So underrated it's crazy
hell no. A Tribe Called Quest is known as one of the most influential rap groups of all time and they pioneered a new way to rap. Q Tip is one of the best rappers of all time. The only reason we don't hear about them as much is because times progress and things get left behind no matter how great they are. He'll always be known for what he did in hip hop. he is not underrated by any means, it's just younger generations (like me, I'm 17) have newer music to listen to while never digging for older stuff, which I'm glad to do because I found Q Tip that way. Not underrated by any means, just not played in the mainstream.
Ojeme Oghoro Thanks. Profanity and name calling get you nowhere when people are trying to have a discussion/debate, so it's best to practice not using it.

No one ever talks about a rappers "voice", it's always their lyricism and flow most of the time but Q-Tip has THE BEST voice in Hip Hop. I can listen to him rhyme all day, in fact I think I'm going to listen to ATCQ right now.
I've been thinking exactly the same thing! Of course lyrics and flow are very important but sometimes there are some rapper's voices that disturb me a bit... anyway, Q-Tip's is definitely my favourite! And yes, I'm going to listen to ATCQ tonite too
I think voice is the most important element. It why people accept poor lyricism sometimes. The voice or how it is engineered is palatable. Also, voice is where you can be distinguished the most as a brand. So much that when 2 artists have a similar voice one inevitably must perish in favour of the next.
I had a dream I was rollerblading giving a chick a piggyback ride and woke up with this song in my head after I crossed the finish line. Halfway through the ride her mom called her like "I don't think you need to be hanging with him. Not while you live under my roof!" She was like "I'm moving out!"
For all of you ignorant as people who keep complaining about why wayne and kanye are in the song, Kanye West runs the label GOOD music which Q-Tip is signed to and Wayne runs the label Young Money. J Woods Q-Tip is on Kanye's label, as Busta is own Lil Wayne's. They are promoting their artists which is funny as both Busta and Q-Tip are legends and predate Kanye and Lil Wayne
J Woods at the time this song was released there was some beef between young money(lil wayne and drake) and G.O.O.D music (Pusha T) so Busta being from the YMCMB camp and Q-Tip from G.O.O.D music decided to help squash the beef by putting their bosses (Lil' Wayne and Kanye) on the song
The flow dynamic between the two thriving off each other is the most fluent style of verse per se, I’d ever witnessed. It truly is a bit of a subtle flex the fact that Kanye and Wayne are just there, which in perspective is for a visual aspect so it may stand out even though with bars as brutal as that, the track would have astounded audiences anyway and in a way it’s better that Ye and Yngmoney didn’t interrupt the verse after Q Tip And Busta Ryhmes kept it sacredly artistic. Ultimately I believe there presents influences the .. bona-fide visual masterpiece.
But why? They didn’t do anything innovative with the music, it’s just a straight ripped sample. Besides the incredible flow from both BUSTA and Q, it’s a pretty pedestrian track, production wise.
I really don't understand how Busta isn't ever mentioned in the GOAT status. Man has been consistently high level from early 90s. So underrated it's crazy

J Woods Kanye is all about reminding us the good things other people did.
Q Tip owns this track. Great to see him back.
yea smashed
Celebration of Hiphop...I'm glad you found this song 👊🏽
Kiss on the cheek for that fire assessment 💋
What he said... 😆
Wow never heard this b4. Was very relieved when lil wayne didn't spit a verse and ruin it
weezy's good tho
fred fishers He really isn't
Corn Cobra dafuq? he ain't the best, but he has bars tho
fred fishers Wayne's one of the worst "rappers" in the history of everything. He just grunts and makes weird noises where actual lyrics should be.
Corn Cobra rofl
not exactly true tho. Carter 3 was pretty good
Am I the only loves how deep, and focused Kanye is to the music? Lmao
Nope yor're not :D
Kanye and Lil Wayne just showed up. Lol
At the time busta was a young money artist and Q was under good music
jesus christ q tip went in holy shit
June Tupua Dont trust these links, i just saw the same comment on another video. Be careful.

Even in 2022, this track slaps🔥🔥🔥🔥
word
That part…. Slaps for sure. Slaps bro. 10-4
Every day PERRRIOOODDDDD
Big facts
Q-tip kills the whole track on this track Busta Rhymes kills it but Q-tip is one step ahead of him
Ending that with the voice of Alicia Meyers's voice giving thanks and gratitudes is my best part 🙏🙏🙏❤️
This song deserved an award
But why? They didn’t do anything innovative with the music, it’s just a straight ripped sample. Besides the incredible flow from both BUSTA and Q, it’s a pretty pedestrian track, production wise.
Yeezy's face from 2:38 to 2:56 is priceless!
Chris brown was in it too
ASAP rocky was roo
where were they at? i saw ferg tho
DarkOFFICIAL He's judging our mortal souls xD He isn't called Yeezus for nothing....
I love q-tip this combination of rappers is beast, ATCQ forever!
Love this duo Q and Bus, still love their earlier collab Ill Vibe ❤❤❤❤❤ True lyricists
QTip Slaughtered this Song. Busta as Well.
Q-Tip's flow is legendary and timeless
I really hope there will be a Native Tongues remix to this. I would love to see Common, Mos Def, and De La Soul in this.
That would be sick!!!!!!!!
WHY!? is this the first time I’ve ever heard ts before 😩 I have never experienced such musical peace
Perfect sample, strong, poetic bars. Legendary!
It’s honestly one of the most addictive samples ever I wish someone would re-use it for another track
And just like that... Q Tip has proven himself to be head and shoulders above 95% of the current "rap artists"
Hell ya
why? because he could ride the beat? smh....
TeeJayy C
Beacuse he's just proven he's still as much of a beast as he was 20 years ago,
Amen. Well said.
Tip and Busta rode the hell out of this beat! straight fire.
Busta is so underrated. He is a legend
