Stray Kids are the shit!!! They are probably one of my top favorite groups all around. Like I have groups I like for certain things, but they are group that’s really strong equally in songs, lyric, vocals, dance, and rap. Also fairly unique in that every single member can both tap and sing whereas most groups have those roles divided. Also one of the groups famous for writing their own songs. They’re all fairly young so you get some really fun and interesting songs in there as they write about gen Z things and fun plays on Korean slang words. They make me study in a different way.
Also fun fact, all members are Korean except two Australia members who learned Korean only after moving there to pursue music

They are a self composing group and are known for having deep meanings in many of their songs.
They tackle subjects such as struggling with your identity, feeling trapped, the pressure of transitioning into adulthood, etc.
They're also known to have an amazing rap line, however basically every member of the group can rap!
They officially debuted in 2018 (so they're pretty recent) as a 9 member group. However recently vocalist of the group, Woojin, sadly left due to personal reasons. So, currently Stray Kids holds 8 members.

Third-I’m not basing my opinion of the music quality produced based on that, as I said I’m new to their group. 4th-I will gladly do the research of the point you have made. But at the end of the day if I like a song then I’m going to listen to it. That does not mean I support the allegation , if it happens to be true I will readjust my view point. Stray kids were put together on a survival show by a company called JYP (part of the big 3 companies in Korea). There are 8 members:
1. Chan, (English name is Chris): Oldest, leader, main producer, lead vocal, lead dancer, sub rapper, songwriter, beat maker.
2. Lee know: main dancer, sub vocal, sub rapper
3. Chang Bin: main rapper, sub vocal, producer, songwriter
4. Hyunjin: main dancer, lead rapper, visual of the group.
5. Han: main rapper, lead vocal, producer, songwriter.
6. Felix: lead dancer, lead rapper, deep ass voice.
7. Seungmin: main vocals
8. I.N.: sub vocals, youngest of the group.
There was a 9th member, but left earlier this year. Three members of the group are part of a sub unit called 3RACHA. They are the producers, songwriters, and beat makers for the group. Two of the members are from Australia, Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep ass voice). You should really check out some of their other songs, like: District 9, Voices, My Pace, Miroh, Get Cool, Victory Song, Double Knot and many others, this is just to get you started.
I know you guys appreciate BTS, and now you are venturing into more of k pop. There are other groups like Big Bang, Shinee, Got 7, MonstaX, EXO, ATEEZ, NCT, Seventeen, and many more. Not to mention I just named a few of the guy groups, there are a lot of girl groups as well...Blackpink, Red Velvet, Twice, Momoland, Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher, ITZY, Girls Generation (now known as SNSD). There is an entire genre...hell I haven't even mention solo artists yet...its a lot I know...but it's so worth looking into.

Stray Kids is 8-members (used to 9-members but one of them leave) self-produced group who makes really cool and unusual music by themselves. Their sound mostly agressive and/or sad and lyrics unbelievable deep which is unusual to k-pop so they are slowly getting recognize but i swear they are already HIGH level even if they are here 2 years and half. They are already have 7 mini-albums, 1 fullsize album, few singles, OST to anime Tower Of God, OST to k-drama and amount of content in general. Producing team 3RACHA (consists of 3 members) have some rap mixtapes and write almost all of them BEFORE group debut - they were 17-20 years old. Hardworking kings!!! All of them can rap, sing and dance very well, but their rap BESTEST in k-pop and completely on another level.
If you wanna heavy-rap songs: Double Knot, Maze Of Memories (all group - 9 members - rapping but no music video), District 9, Hellevator, Grrr
If you wanna more dance songs (but they are honestly heavy rap everywhere): Miroh, My Pace, Victory Song
If you wanna some great non-category songs: Side Effects (really experimental), Voices (emotional), N/S (just chill rap), Boxer (punch in the face)

The leader, BangChan (the one who starts the prechorus with the face chains) and Felix (deep voice beautiful face) are both Australian. Seungmin (purple hair singer) studied in the US for awhile. So several of them at least CAN speak some English or are fluent. What I love about StrayKids is how much effort they put into it, mostly Chan. Chan started as a JYP trainee at 12, coming from Australia to South Korea. He trained for 8 YEARS. He went through 8 company showcases where he could end up debuting and never got to. Many of his friends from his age group became idols (like Yugyeom and BamBam from GOT7) and yet he was still in the company training and working hard to eventually realize his dreams. He put together 3RACHA, a 3person rap team consisting of himself, Changbin (first person rapping) and Han (second person rapping) and the three became friends and produced music and rapped together. They found more singers and dancers and Chan actually put together his own group. At the showcase, he was finally able to debut with a group that the company did not pick and choose based on looks and attributes, but that Chan put together himself. They were on a reality show where we get to see them going through the showcase before debut. Chan does so much of the work himself, from the music production, lyrics, to choreography. He works super late on music and sleeps only a few hours because he is always trying to work more and help his group. Most of the songs by Straykids were written at least in part by 3Racha. He listens to input from his teammates on all the aspects. So aside from how completely unusual the group is in how it was formed (most groups are assembled by producers or the CEOs), and how much the group works their butts off to succeed (especially in a company ran by *opinion(but shared by many)* a creeper who keeps his own artists from their true potential, but I love that Chan does all these things, yet if you watch the videos or songs, he doesn’t have the most lines and isn’t in front all the time. He may be the leader, but he puts all his members first. If you enjoyed this song, God’s Menu, I recommend District 9 (their official debut song), Levanter, Hellavator, Double Knot and SLUMP. Btw, all members (now eight, but was nine until last November) can sing as well as rap.

Also theres a bit during the sing that gets me all the time and its when i hear the deep voice of my bias Felix (he is part of the Australian line) as when ever i hear that i cant help but shout his name out and start fangirling badly and believe me its crazy how much i fangirl over jist that bit, also his voice makes my heart beat so fast it feels like its trying to run away from me to get to him

They also write their lyrics about peoples everyday struggles in life and always have some deep meaning to them.
They consist of currently 8 members but was 9 until recently when one member left the group to pursue a solo career.

One of the things I love about straykids is that *they write all the lyrics themselves at such a young age (23-19)* , not like some of the groups who write for them wisely. currently all lyrics are written by Bang Chan (leader), Jisung and Changbin (main rappers).

Straykids have many songs that raise awareness of suicide, raise awareness of mental health. *"Hellevator"* is currently about depression. The song *"If"* is about anxiety, the song *"M.I.A"* is about getting lost while fighting mental illness. In this song they refer to themselves as you amd sing to themselves. Song *"Insomnia"* is about sleeping disorder. They talk about the struggles of that disorder. Song *"Eunseoki"* is about bullying and they wrote it in perspective of the bully
They have even song called *" domestic banana"* which about global warming and its effect on climate change.
In addition to stray music, they also participated in the pride of the new year and talked to other people, they give donations to children in need, they break stereotypes,

Stray Kids is now eight member Kpop group, they originally started with nine. They are a self-created & self-produced group who debuted under JYP Ent on March 25th 2018 through a survival show which was called “Stray Kids”. It’s been about two years now since their debut, the first song they’ve written was “Hellevator” during the end of their predebut in October 2017. Their rapline is called “3RACHA” who are responsible for writing & producing all of their music. They‘re popular for their hip hop rock rap EDM kpop style. The leader Bang Chan was the one who picked out all the members to be in the group on the survival show. *My biases are Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Felix and HAN but I love & support OT8 (“NO bias wreckers”)*
3RACHA is a hip hop rap subunit that consists of Bang Chan (CB97), Changbin (SpearB), and Han (J.One) who debuted in early 2017 under JYP Ent before being complete group called Stray Kids. *The song “Hellevator” was written, produced and choerographed by themselves as part of a mission on a survival show also called “Stray Kids” which was also during their predebut in October 2017, the track itself means since they’re already in hell, struggling and in pain but keeps on going and gets on the elevator towards their dreams because they want to escape onto a better future *H button = Heaven* All the members can sing, rap and vice vera. They have allot of hip hop, rock and EDM elements in many of their tracks. One of the boys named HAN is almost if not the youngest music producer in kpop industry who’s worked along with Bang Chan and Changbin on all of Stray Kids songs/albums until now. They were often referred to as the possible new BTS. Not in the sense that they’re the same as BTS but in the sense they all write and produce their own lyrics on top discussing dark topics that aren’t talked about in South Korea. Similar to BTS, Stray Kids music talks allot about mental health and only few kpop groups have done this. They’ve gone through many struggles like many kpop artists have.

haha this song/mv are really overwhelming on first listen but im glad you guys like it!! stray kids are amazing :) check out their very first song, "hellevator"! they wrote and produced it for the reality show they were formed on- all of their stuff is self produced. plus they were only 16-20 years old at the time!
also, the english title of this song is "god's menu", in korean you'd say it like "shin-menu" which has a double meaning of "god's menu" and "new menu". the first character is the chinese character for god and the rest in menu spelled in hangul

Stray Kids is the only korean group that formed by the leader ( Bang Chan from Australia ) not by the label and the only korean group who wrote all the song lyrics ( by 3 members the producer lines called 3racha ) except for mixtape ( written by all members ) since predebut album - the latest album ( over 50 songs ) without skipping a single song ( you got the genuine original lyrics based on the member knowledges and experiences for all songs ) and the only korean group that in the album producing process even if feat with some other producers ( all the song instructions for vocal, rap, flow,member parts etc must be lead by 3racha ( the producer line and rap line of stray kids ) not by other producers, other producers can only take a part for the music only ( structure, sound samples, mixing etc ). they have freedom for their musics thats why every comeback they have intro video explaining the detail of each song ( over 20 minutes long ).

I am so speechless right now, my brain is still trying to process the meaning of the song and MV. I did figure out that “Shin” word means both “God” and “New” which either one can be applied to this title track 👀 They literally became GODS OF THE KITCHEN, scientist construction area, nascar, marching band etc in this video which I think speaks for itself and dont even get me started on the fashion & visuals because OMG i’m dead. Their vlive showcase was amazing they were adorably funny at the same time being super handsome, theyre growing so fast ... this track is giving me so much of their previous albums vibes from beginning to end which makes me feel like they finally putting their storyline together in this new full album after so long of waiting.
