i'll probably get this because i love my dsr+ and am willing to pay the extra money to etch out a little better performance. however, i think it's incredible that there is still no feed neck thumbscrew even in the pro upgrade kit. i got the exalt one, which works fine... it's a thumbscrew, but c'mon dye...
The dsr is at least not as much as a luxe or PE gun. Sure, they should give a thumbscrew but how many different loaders are you using to where you have to adjust it all the time?
Forgetting one step. Once installed, you also need to turn the velocity down and "turn the screw all the way in". Then, re-chrono. The pressure will change, and if you leave it the same, it will leak.
I am curious about some real life numbers about efficiency and consistency? I would be surprised if you gain more than +30 balls per tank and -1fps of consistency. How about an side by side test 🤔 30 strings of 10 balls over the virtue chrony to show +/-fps Thanks for the video and efforts
Would you please make an efficiency video for the DSR+ with the IM Pro Kit installed? I already received it from you, but I don’t normally drain my tank all the way down to check when I play.
@@ConTheDon187 It's not a "repair" - those are handled via RMA. This will improve any DSRs efficiency including the previous generation (minus the solenoid spool).
You'd be waiting a while for that one. The DYE DLS on the other hand is probably already done. They just don't want to release it because no CS3 will sell after those numbers get shown.
How do I get that gray piece off the bolt assembly like at 9:12? It’s really stuck on there for me and of course there’s no wrench flats or anything to grab onto
So I pay almost 1000 for a marker thats not the best it can be and now get milked another $ for parts to make it right? Paintball players=Suckers. 28 years of taking my money. Im the sucker...
Weird take when up until a couple of years ago, companies would just throw this kit in a gun with slightly different milling and call it a new gun. Let’s be real, when Dye and PE were releasing guns every year, the updates really weren’t that major. If much prefer this to be the norm.
I feel like the solenoid is gonna have a lot of leaks but we'll see.. I said it 1st Also makes me wonder how much they tested it before they decided to put it out on the market Seems kind of rushed Is cash grab [ Placebo
I've actually been running this kit in my marker for a few months now doing pre release testing. These parts have been put through the wringer and are an all around improvement. I've had zero issues with leaks and a noticeable efficiency bump.
They had quite a few pros running them throughout the season for field testing. I personally saw the efficiency improvement at cup. I'd say they work fine. Much better consistency as well.
Not buying until I see a side by side efficiency test with a significant improvement
turned out to be a significant improvement
New efficiency shooting video of the DSR+ with the new IM kit? Please?!?!
Original DSR versus DSR with the Im kit and then DSR plus versus DSR plus with the Im kit
@@lawsonbenedict6579 that’s a comparison video we want, but will never get, lmfao
DSR+ Pro Kit efficiency test please!
Just did mine and yeah… that bolt back was NUTS to get off. I used an adjustable wrench and some sticky workout band to grab it haha

@@brianx2504 yeah I agree. I have 1 rotor and it goes on all my guns so I rarely change the screw
@@brianx2504 Exactly!!!
They have one now!!
Just make a better marker from the start

Where are you coming up with 30 balls? We saw ~20%+ in testing.

Any word on the slaps asa coming out for these?
YOOOO I WISH companies in paintball did this. Different actual custom kits. To actually differentiate markers on the field
this is a repair for efficiency issues. Some people's dsr+'s were absolute air hogs and the old parts the culprit.

Great work and thank you for the video!
Nice scratches lol. Crescent wrench would have worked much better. GG
That's quite an extensive rebuild...
Will this work on a non plus model
We getting that DYE DSL shooting video anytime soon :)?

already took the efficiency video down after 1190 shots on 68.
@@xxdevo2685xx Thanks Devin. So, question, would you get the CS3 or DLS?
Did that on the 9th due to friending the engineers behind it. I had the inside scoop :)
@@xxdevo2685xx Ok, so you would go with the DYE DLS? You feel that is the better marker?

If you go on ANS gear and look up the iron man pro kit go to reviews and read that guy's review no bs ... I said it 🙄 😒 😴 js
$90 more to try and make a $1k marker shoot the way it already should. My $300 Emek operates 10x better than these
Dsr shoots amazing though
I love the EMEK but the DSR+ mech destroys it.
