I'm not clear. Is this just rebooting the roku, or is it changing some subtle setting somewhere? I find that I have to reboot my Roku a few time per week to keep it from getting super laggy. I just reboot it out of the settings menu. Is this method doing something else magical?
It's a soft reboot. Basically, it's like unplugging then replugging your Roku device without physically doing so. Like the guy says, it's an easier way to soft reboot your device without getting up. The soft reboot method fixes roughly 95% of common bugs and lagging issues on most technological items. Hope that helps. 🙂
Also, the reboot device setting in the option menu doesn't always work, or at least work like it should do. Think of it as "fixing" a WiFi modem. If it's not working properly, simply unplugging, wait around 30 seconds then replugging it back in almost always fixes the problem. Hope this also helps. 🙂

After trying restarting the TV, resetting the tv, checking for updates and unplugging the tv. My wife said, let's restart the wifi... gosh... I wish I was as smart as her. (It worked. Lol)
Any word on award vpn on roku cannot get american paramount plus just Australia and canada tried the developer operations cannot get the apps on it is there a link for a video on this

Bro this is useless. Do you mean the HOME button with the little house? You don't show this. When I rewind 2 x it goes to settings and then when I do fast forward 2 x it goes to internet. Maybe do another video with the actual remote control in hand. Thanks
I am impressed, it seems to work for me on the first try. My Sling action was slow, slow, nothing… then the cursor would jump. Now, smooth and fast like it used to be. Thank you. 👍

I did this on my Roku sharp tv, Roku integrated with the tv, and it launched the Roku Tuning App. Not sure what it’s doing but I can’t get out of it.

Although it actually does work. It didnt help on mine, I guess either the tv is just old and needs a replacement or something is wrong with its board.
The lagging I get is when I'm in the apps like Peacock and Paramount
