Really helpful. This gave me a much greater understanding of the play and definitely highlighted some interesting concepts that will be useful in a literature essay.
My English class had mixed responses. Whittaker slept through most of it whereas Lishman was quite engaged. The rest of the chaps were quite amused by the intercom and people walking by outside. They were fascinated that the speaker could maintain his focus and chain of thought for so long. An interesting and welcome relief from my monotone drone!
Happy to both engage Lishman and sing Whittaker to sleep. My focus has been honed thanks to both playing sports, extended reading and viewing sessions, and daily meditation. Try the previous and you'll be capable of the same--it's a skill that grows with time and effort. Glad to be a relief from the monotone drone as well!
