All cats can swim, it's just that most of them would prefer not to. The difference in natural water cats is in the fur. I have a Norwegian Forest cat, which is known for fishing. The snow leopard has the longest documented jump among cat species. One is documented by a team of scientists to have jumped 11.7 meters (38 feet and 4.5 inches) across a cleft. Comically, their designated camera man was still fumbling for the camera, when the leopard vanished out of sight. It illustrates how shy the snow leopard is, though; there are people who have studied snow leopard for decades, and have never seen one live in nature, and hardly anyone has seen more than fleeting glimpses. The jump was precisely measured, using footprints in pristine snow. Since snow leopards are so elusive, and sightings are so rare and fleeting, there's no record of how high they can jump. However, based on their body mechanics and such rare observations as the aforementioned long jump, some estimate that it may be capable of jumping as high as 6 meters; that's twice as high as the caracal, which has the highest _documented_ jump.
The snow leopard also lives in the area where that cat family emerged, i.e. the Himalayas, and may be the closest living relative of the first feline species.
I just thought someone should mention this.

At 16:45 at the tail end of the Jaguar segment, the last footage is of an African Leopard. Note the longer, slender body and face as well as the much longer and fluffier tail and the lack of spots within the rosettes. And at 18:38 during the Leopard segment, a jaguar is shown in place of a leopard.

Mio Dio. Se penso che negli anni 70-80 erano di moda le pellicce di ocelot e di lince mi sento morire. Bisogna avere rispetto per tutti gli esseri viventi. Probabilmente sono migliori degli esseri umani.

There was a teacher in my high school who had a jaguar that he took everywhere with him except the school. The teAcher had VW beatle car with the back adopted for the cat. The had had a rinstone caller she wore at all times and she was gorgeous.

6:06 Incorrect information. Marbled cats are found widely from in Himalayan areas, southwest China, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia to Indonesia. Most of its population are in Himalayan foothills, Sumatra of Indonesia, and Myanmar-Thailand forests. Their current status is "near threatened" as of most of the wildlife whose habitat was shrunk by human's city expansion but they're not at risk of extinction yet.

I don't want to be a bad person here, but I usually don't watch videos when the first thing the narrator does is explain to me what a cat is.

If Bobcats don't dwell in colder climates then please explain why there are so many of them in the Western Montana Rocky Mountains where we have cold weather for about 9 months out of the year, usually having at least a few weeks in the -30's and -40's.
