Thanks for the question! Because you asked, I went to touch the wheel and it does feel better than plastic type of tyre. The way it feels is more like a rubber type of material, as it has a bit of that flexible feel to it. In terms of anti-slip, I'm not completely sure on that one but we haven't had an issue in the rain thus far. Hope this helps!
