Salt Springs in Ocala National Forest

Here is a glimpse into the refreshing and beautiful salt springs located in Ocala National Forest. The water is around 70 degrees year round so makes more a nice place to cool off during the hotter times of year. The recreation area is located in the lush, semi-tropical setting of central Florida. Within the recreation area is a natural spring rising from vertical fissures (cracks) from deep within the earth. I have been to that spring a many times! I also did a underwater video like you did here the last time I went a couple of years ago. It is better to get there in the morning because by noon is starts getting busy, especially on the weekends and the fishes high tail it (no pun intended) out of there. My personal opinion is it is one of the nicest (great facilities to change into bathing suits, picnic tables, etc) and most interesting of the springs in Florida. Great video mate! I need to make a trip back there again this summer. Maybe after DeLeon springs trip.
