If you're reading this, it means you're probably here to tell me that It Ends With Us didn't deserve the slander I gave it in this video LOL. Just wanted to say that I have a different appreciation for IEWU that I didn't necessarily have when I filmed this video! Colleen Hoover is my favorite author of all time. She doesn't write a bad book. So, know that I love all of her books with everything in me! IEWU is just not one of my favorites by her. I LOVE the book for the message that it gives the readers and I appreciate Colleen for bringing that message to light through the lens of a fantastic story. However, I would still argue that this book has elements of a "love triangle" trope. There are two love interests and there is a point in the story that both men are viable options for Lily. However, at the end of the day, I really do love this book! It isn't my favorite one ever by Colleen but that's just because I enjoy some of her other books better! Doesn't make IEWU a bad book just because I enjoy some of her other books better. I love each and every one of you and I love reading your thoughts and opinions on the way that I tier ranked Colleen's books! Thanks for being here and supporting me

It wasn’t what I expected and I though I wouldn’t like it when I saw where the story was going, but I absolutely loved it, kept thinking about the book for days. I think what you said about the book is misleading :/ but overall, nice video!
I agree! I was a little upset at first on the way the story was going, but ultimately I absolutely loved it since it had such a strong message and it wouldn't be the same if she executed the story differently. I finished it few days ago and I'm not ready to move on yet :(
Oh yes! I know it’s not JUST a love triangle, I just don’t really care for love triangles and that book definitely has that in there which is why it’s not my favorite. I still love it! But it just didn’t hit home like all her other books did

Especially since the female character, Lily, respected her relationship with Ryle and didn’t seek Atlas. It was just lingering emotions and memories. She was happy with Ryle, until it came to an end. I feel saying it’s a triangle love story takes away the importance of the message the novel conveys, which is breaking the circle of domestic abuse. But that’s your opinion; it’s cool. I’m here merely for discussion not fighting. Maybe you should give it another go.
Nola Oh girl I love hearing everyone’s opinion! I’m so glad you loved it. Yeah I’ve actually read it twice before haha I think the message behind it is so beautiful! Breaking the cycle is so important and it’s an amazing message. I think I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I do her other books. But it is still a great book!

I’m glad someone else understands lol. When she kissed atlas I was so happy. I was upset when I realized that she wanted lily to end up with her abuser.
I cried more in the end message in it ends with us than the book. The best thing about the book is that she made us fall in love with Ryle so we can relate to the Mc then feel heartbroken when the mc did. But I never felt connected to atlas,couldn’t get over how he waited for her to get to the age he liked, never liked how she wrote to Ellen(like just right in a journal or something) idk some part were lacking but 3.5 for me.
Just got into Coho by reading It Ends With Us and I was so in love with the characters and plot. It’s probably my all time favorite book but it’s the only book of hers I’ve read, I’m starting Ugly Love today! I only really get to read during summer months (I’m a writing major in college and during semester I have a lot of fiction to both read a lot of and write a lot of) and I want to read as many of her books as possible!

*SPOILERS FOR IT ENDS WITH US* I wouldn’t say IEWU was a love triangle whatsoever. A love triangle implies that the partners are competing for the person in the middle. I don’t think Atlas was trying to compete at all. He let her know that he was there, but never interfered with the relationship. (Aside from the time he got in an altercation, but even then he wasn’t trying to make her pick him over Ryle. He was just telling her that she deserved better). I guess you could argue that Ryle was competing for her love, but he had already won, they were married. He was just jealous and psychotic. Lilly would have definitely stayed with Ryle had he not been abusive. So, I don’t think a triangle applies. I totally respect your opinion. I just don’t see the triangle. I think about a triangle being a constant, agonizing, annoying competition and no one ever tends to “win” in those situations.

As a reader, we have different perspective of the story,we appreciate the books in a different way. For me I like books that are impactful and could be apply in life, I like that i dont just read books because of the story but because of what I can get from the story and guide me through life. The plot is just a bonus. And CoHo never failed to give that lessons especially IEWU and All your perfects.
Hi! I just read Ugly love and OMG !!! It became one of my favourites. I'm a huge COHO fan. The chemistry between Miles and Tate was jus wow. I had butterflies all the time. I can't get over it, I miss the characters so bad. Can you recommend something similar to this book?

@@merreads I think you would really like Maybe Someday! Ugly love is more smut/smutty but is FREAKING HEARTWRENCHING and maybe someday is sweet and the romance is bomb but also kinda heart wrenching as well. Also has one of my favorite male characters ever haha

I think looking back, I would put IEWU higher on my list but I still love all your perfects!
