My cat does all this and lets me give it a bath when needed without any issues. He’s the best thing that’s happened to me in the last… several years. He purrs when I give him a bath. It’s the cutest thing I’ve ever experienced.
I had a calico that would come in after rolling in sand and dust that would let me put her in a bath, she didn't mind it at all. Surprised me at first, she'd just sit there in it.

Well, at least you don't have mice in your home. I knew of an indoor only cat that periodically left dead mice as gifts. Sometimes the cat left headless mice.
5 years ago the cat at our vacation villa brought me a dead mouse and showed me her kittens and it was the night before we leave. the cat is dead now but ı had really touching moments with her: ❤

I wish I practiced more at your age to better myself, as it really is what you do at this time that sets footing for your life. None of the 'I'm just a kid still' bs.. the game has already started. What you do now determines your character. I thought I could just 'turn on' discipline in my 20s & just enjoy my teens with raves/drugs but that never happened. 'Tomorrow' still hasn't come, and I'm now 33. Work before play is what makes play play. Nothing is fun when everything is always supposed to be fun. Life is suffering, you can't avoid it. Embrace the uncomfortable to sculpt who you are. I know the rant seems odd, but I felt the need to say it. Keep up the art, keep up the passion. I'm rooting for ya kid. ^-^

I raised my cat from kittenhood with a broken ankle. He attached to me instantly. He always walks with me or sleeps with me. Always tries to get my attention when im on a call or gaming. He knows i have work and will look for him when i get off.
I’m so glad you mentioned this because you’re right. People don’t realize that cats do that when they’re not feeling well the frequency of the vibration helps to heal and make them feel better. I know it makes me feel better too when I’m not well, a lot cheaper than going to a doctor 😂
I have two cats. The one I’ve had since a kitten does 4/5 (no toys or prey given to me). The one I adopted at age 4, tends to bring me her favorite toy fish often BUT rarely does the other things. Most friends think she’s aloof but I think she enjoys her space. It’s always a pleasant surprise when she jumps on my lap to nap or smurgle ❤ I will say, both are ALWAYS in the same room as me. They even hang out with me on the throne 😂 I think the sign animals consider you family, is when they want to be in the same space as you often. Love my babies ❤
Hearing this and remembering my mom's cat who disappeared one day makes me sad now because he did some if not most of that towards me. I've been a kid back then and I didn't treated him really well. I wouldn't say I abused him either but I didn't really showed him the love and affection I would today. I always saw him as annoying and a little bit disgusting because he was vommiting in the bathtub and had saliva running down in strings from his mouth due to physical problems (I'm not entirely sure what it was but I know he had some sicknesses) and I remember how he brought me dead mices, purred around me and was close to me despite me having pulled his tail when I was under 6 years old and as I said before not really caring about him until he suddenly disappeared😭😕 This happened over 10 years ago now I think but it still makes me sad realizing how much love he was showing towards me. He even somewhat listened to me back then when my mom took in a stray cat for a day or two that he didn't liked at all
Once I went to my dads friends house they had a cat I had never met it in my life I was on the couch watching tv and their cat comes and just sits on my lap asleep one of the cutest experiences ever I’ll never forget that moment
You literally just described normal cat behavior, there was a little kitten i met and being the animal lover that I am, i had to pet it and it snuggled up with me the first day i met it (cutest thing ever btw 🥺) but I know it didnt see me as its mother
I got my cat when she was 10yo. She was an indoor and her owners from kitten hood, when they moved overseas, couldn't take her. No one in their family wanted her so I got her. She's sleeping on me currently. I love her.
My adopted buddy, Wu, made biscuits right away. He isn’t big on physical contact unless he wants to… He knows I feed him, give him good water, 3 litter boxes, catnip, toys. He does love his dolphin pets. I had my baby, Dixie, as a possible abandoned/orphaned stray. My brother was expecting to have a cat. But he left on a trip for the weekend. I did not name these kittens, but love them endlessly.
my cat Spazzy has always yelled at my door for me to let her in, she would jump on my bed and start purring like a motorcycle, some times she would curl up and sleep next to me, and also knead on me, I guess I’m her mother lol
My cat was a stray, I took him in very recently and always had to be in the same room as me, or he'd get upset. He never went outside without me and things like that. I'm happy to say the little guy now enjoys being outside on his own and has taken to relaxing in rooms that I'm not in. Though when it comes to sleeping, he still prefers to sleep wherever I happen to be, whether hes lying on me or nearby. I love my boy so much he's my little smoking buddy haha
My cat bring me leaves, lizards, grass hoppers. Most recent one is lizard without it's head. My guess is she got hungry so she took a bite of the gift. 🤣
My old 17 year old did all of these (except bringind dead stuff because he hates going outside) i only knew him for about 5 months, but i immediately became his favorite, got dozens of pictures of him laying on or between my thighs, on my chest, face, and many other places, he was out down 2 months ago because he had kidney failure
My 2 cats brought me 4 birds ( one still alive) and 1 mouse in the span of 3 days. I thought maybe they were hungry and felt like they needed to hunt, so i gave them some more food. That worked. I felt bad for every single animal they killed.
all 3 of my cats love me (two are kittens i raised since they were 2 months old and the other is their grandma that i took in who treats them as her own)
Except the grooming one, my cat does all of them 😂 Though i no longer let her out from the house. So no gifts anymore for me. Because she's once kidnapped by unknown, but goes back home by herself after weeks

My cat Bali grew up with me, and he does this a lot, it's super cute. He either sleeps in my chair at my desk or in my chair at the dining table

Purring can also indicate PAIN and NERVOUSNESS! Don’t be fooled thinking they only purr when happy.
