I just purchased a 3000+ basketball card lot for just about the same price. Anxious to see what all I got in it! This is primarily what I do, flip big lots of mostly low end stuff! I would love for you to track (if you sell) and keep us posted on how you do with reselling these. I keep a spreadsheet of my flips based on the per card price for the lot vs how much I sell them for. I have done pretty well, but it can be a gamble on eBay to know what you are buying with big lots sometimes! Thanks for the content, would love to hear some updates on how this lot does if flipped!🤙🏻
i been thinkin about buyin some low end stuff that people dont want because if it's low demand n thus cheap, but i dont mind it, it maybe a win win. I'd maybe buy HOF junk wax, reprints, boxing, n any NBA or MLB players for LA teams
Chig akankwo led all tight ends and receivers in yards per catch this year he has 21 receptions for like 430 yards or something like that he will be really good.
Interesting lot, I have seen lots like that but the price always feels to high for what I would keep for my PC. Would be interesting to see you list what you don't keep and see what the return would be in a future video.
At that point, I would look into cracking the Grisham slab. I know you said it’s worth 0, but being an /25 inception rookie it might be worth cracking the slab and selling it raw. It’s not a total loss! Also that Suh is gorgeous haha. Love seeing big lots like this.
Sell all the baseball cards right now especially the Wander Franco’s as his cards are going way up because how he is playing and the Rays are 13-0. The O’Neil Cruz would have been perfect to sell over a week ago when he was playing pretty good but then he broke his ankle and is out for 4 months.
I pulled a $40 Kenneth walker mystique card from the illusions blaster box! Would love to see you open some of those, the card art for illusion is so cool!
@@Vikings95 Thank you! It’s my best pull yet, I don’t really got the money to be buying expensive packs so I’m happy I made my money back. Well Sam, I'll be honest. For a football only collector NO. But, I only collect football, so don't know as much about the other sports. My question is- You're a collector, right??? WTH do you fo with all the cards you buy??? Or, are you also an investor/seller. Either way, it's gonna be work if you want to sell it between fees, etc... I'm getting older. I invest in the stock market and enjoy that as a hobby as well, but I don't consider sports cards investments. The $500 worth of cards was the total price if they were to sell on the lower end of sales I found, My purchase price was $262.60 lol

when you do find lots like these, do you use any specific search words? when i look up "card lots" or similar, i'll see 3-10 cards but never this amount with the amount of hits as well. great video great haul!!!!
Nice find. Love your mystery pack reveals but this one was a little large and I only follow NFL mostly so was lost through some of it. I would bet if you sold a lot of those later on once the season approaches that amount could jump 10%-20% for the NFL cards
Some nice stuff to add to your collection and if you are looking to sell its in an affordable price range for a lot of people I’d you want to put in the work. Nice pickup!
There's some honest sellers and buyers on those apps but you REALLY REALLY have to screen who you're buying from or selling to, unlike ebay where sometimes no history can still be legit. Unless they're active with lots of good reviews on actual complete sales then you're gaurunteed to get scammed. Plus their customer service is basically non existent.
It was packed OK - everything was inside of a baggie with some protection, but probably could've been packed with a little more care for such a large purchase lol
@Vikings95 I gotta re watch it because when I tried watching was at work so couldn't really pay attention, what are your plans with the lot now? Gonna try and flip them on ebay and take us along for the ride? 😁👍
I have one of those same Patrick Surtain II checkerboard! I pulled it from a blister pack a few weeks ago, and it has surprisingly not sold on ebay yet.
I have the surtain listed for 55 and it has not sold, if that gives you any reference. I would send it to grade, but I don't think it would sell faster, or for much more, unless it was a 10
This was different, but interesting to listen to. Still kept me until the end. It was sort of a glimpse into some ebay deals and how the market is right now. Pricing has certainly been strange. Thanks for sharing! I'd watch another one if you made it.
Not a bad deal but a grind to resell all of the unwanted cards. There is money to be had but unless I am doubling my cost I won't buy and you are looking at making 33-39%
I think you got beat by $45-$60. A lot of that stuff is zero. I don't buy Panini Baseball so that stuff is worthless to me. The graded cards were nobodies except Justin and McCaffery. I'd only buy 5 cards outta the rest so to me I would have passed because of how hard it would be to sell the other stuff.
Considering I’ve already sold about 20 cards and made my money back, I’d disagree 😎 with cards that have ebay comps, someone was already willing to pay that price recently. Just because it’s worthless to you doesn’t mean it is to others 👍
@@Vikings95 true that. I would have just scrolled right past most this stuff. To each his own. Great job, tho. And to be fair, I have a 2019 Clearly Donruss Anthony Davis Green #'d to 25.
