Hi Kim. I just love this video. All your projects were so good and creative. It's hard to pick a favorite. I love the idea of using real leaves to stamp with. Also, using antiquing wax to tone down a bright flower is genius. I also love how you used the spindles in different ways. So many great ideas. Thank you for the inspiration.
Hi friends, This week, we will create Autumn decor with a muted, moody, primitive feel for your home or resale. We will give thrifted finds a new look, use 2x4" & other scraps of wood, and turn them into simple rustic decor. Please let me know which is your favorite! THANK YOU for watching, commenting & sharing my videos! I appreciate you very much Have a super blessed week! #homedecordiy #upcycleddecorideas #diyfalldecor2024
Loved the video, especially the shelf sitters. One idea I have seen to reuse spindles is by making Christmas ornaments (they hang down like icecicles). Im going to try some with spindles i have left over after I made one of your cute stools (my fav project you have done so far)
On the picture frame that you put the spindle on top of, I've done that but added chains hanging between the spindle and the sign (I used a scrap wood sign...) you can get the plant hanger chains that are black at Dollar tree during the right part of the year so they are cheap... You wanted ideas for the spindles so thought this was a twist on your frame! ❤❤❤ Again, love your beautiful ideas!
Beautiful projects, loved them all! We're coming into spring in Australia so I'm enjoying the cool weather now ,love winter, don't get as hot with my power surges 😂
@@CreativeDIYPurpose I like the look of a double sided sign hanging from the spindle on a small chain, I have the perfect stencil once I get a sign large enough. Like the early 1900s.
I like a lot of these. Do you ever create more neutral fall decor? I don’t use a lot of bold colors in my regular decor. Having said that I can definitely see creams and browns being applicable. Love how you show all the steps! It’s funny that I used to do a lot of burgundy and it’s back in style. I’m loving the greens right now
I do! It's a challenge for me to create using color. For my home, I use white, black, and natural wood. Do you use neutral tones for your holiday decor as well? I agree it's back in style. I do love creating with different shades of green, and they seem to sell well too! Thank you for watching and commenting ♥️🍁
These look great! You might try putting a tad of the decoupage medium on your thumb and forefinger (just enough to make them tacky), then pinch the corner of your napkin. It sticks to your fingers and the lawyers separate easily. You may be wasting effort putting your hot glue on to wet glue ~ I don’t believe there’s anything for it to grab on to, it just lays on the wet glue. Thank you for your efforts, I enjoy your videos 😊
Thank you. Great idea about the glue on fingers for napkin! I thought of the hot glue over the wood glue as i was watching the video clips. Thank you for that reminder. Next time, I'll leave a space plain for the hot glue. You're welcome, and thank you! 💙🦋
These items will be placed in a tiny local shop. Plain blocks with words $5.99-$6.99 Pumpkins $6.99-7.99. Signs $7.99 one with pumpkin & ribbon $14.99. Spindles $14.99 Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any more questions that I'd be happy to answer 😊

Beautiful, Kim. I’ve been wanting to hang a sign from a spindle top. I’ll have to keep it in mind. Love the colors.
