You've really captured the magic of this song! ✨ I enjoy the way the accompaniment dances around the melodies and how the bass hits emphasize the emotion of the changes!
Our first piece wearing gloves! We've been wanting to put together some piano covers from the Greatest Showman for some time and thought we'd take the opportunity to do it in this tent whilst we had the chance! More songs from this show on the way.

Nice setup, must be a bit harder to play with gloves. I like this arrangement, the octaves and low bass notes! This one and Pianoguys version are both great
The Flaming Piano It was quite weird playing with the gloves on... definitely would not recommend it for fast octave-work! :)

Wild Bill Haha, thanks, Wild Bill! This video has been a lot a fun to do. The gloves and heavy dressing gown made it a challenge for me to play though! Somehow, the song was kind of slow though, but with the use of custom speeds to 1.15x, it's close to the original, and it sounds amazing!

What is piano model you use?
Hi. May I ask, how often do you press the sustain pedal as you play? Thanks.
Hi John, in this piece I tended to play the sustain pedal (also known as the damper pedal) at least once in each bar - generally a good rule is to renew the pedal whenever the general chord / harmony changes, (in this song that’s about once every bar) because you’ll want to avoid the sound becoming too blurry! I also do a trick which I call “pedal pumping” whereby I release the pedal sometimes halfway through a bar and then replace it... again this is good if you want to avoid the sound getting too cluttered. Hope that helps?!

I think you're wearing rubber gloves.
Bass lines are important and for some reason missing from a lot of other arrangements. What you've made is good, I think actually your playing in this video let you down! If you return to the project, might be worth studying the way P!nk builds tension and plays with the pacing in her vocals. It could give your performance the "oomph" the arrangement is certainly capable of. Great work though.
