Can we like also just take a minute to appreciate the band and Jessi? It takes so much talent to work with someone as gifted as Kelly and keep up with her and they kill it every time.
The band (including Jessi and other BVs) ALWAYS delivers ❤️🙌 Every song, every day
I am obsessed with this performance! Best duet of 2023!! They barely rehearsed it which is amazing! Love their chemistry! They would make such a cute couple, js! Thanks for the great reaction❤❤
My pleasure ❤️ And your obsession is valid, haha!
This was amazing! I never get tired of hearing this version. Thank you for reacting! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Truly my pleasure! ❤️
❤❤ Kelly can make any artist sound better. Great duet! Thanks for the Kelly, there's never too much!
THANK YOU I could not wait for your reaction to this and I love it. Your instant facial expressions from the first note were exactly what I did too. In English we call that face STANK face it's when it's sooo good you have no words. They are both tooooo good, so good. I been replaying it non stop. ugh and the band sooooo good too. 💓💓💓💓💓
Thank you ❤️☺️ And yesss the stank face, haha I love that expression! And I can relate, it's been playing on repeat in my head even when I'm not listening
I have been totally OBSESSED with this collab/version since it came out! They were both fantastic & so respectful to each other in terms of giving space for the other to shine, like you mentioned. I love how KC does duets with her guests. There’s no ego in it & she’s such a fan of other artists. She was fangirling over singing with Teddy Swims just like she did when she sang with Alanis Morrisette. They really didn’t practice this either, just fyi. The clips I saw basically just showed them talking about who was going to do what where during a commercial break. It takes two phenomenal pros to be able to do a performance this great with basically no rehearsal! I’ve been looking forward to your reaction to this one! 😊💚💚
It' SO GOOD, your obsession is valid 😄❤️ It's living rent free in my head to, playing on repeat in there and I'm not even mad
What an amazing duet! They both go great together like peanut butter and jelly. 😃Great reaction!
♥♥
This performance didn't even happen that long ago, but I've still been waiting a long time for this lol. This may be one of my favorite duets ever, their chemistry in every sense of the word is fantastic and their voices flow so well together. Can't wait to watch this, I know it's gonna be a good one...
Hahaha! Love that. And it's incredible 🙌 They're both amazing and I love how they really tune into eachother and create vocal magic together. That timing!! 🥵🙌👏
One of the best duets to ever date! Have you checked Kelly’s rendition to Don’t Let Go (Love) by En Vogue? It’s just mindblowing.
I LOVE that song!! ❤️ Haven't checked Kelly's performance yet, but I don't want to miss this one
I was waiting for you to review this one ❤ great reaction! This was SO good!! ❤️❤️
Thank you ❤️ They sound amazing together, and this song is 🔥
Such a great collaboration!
❤❤ Great review!! I’ve watched this performance soooo many times and have watched multiple reactions of it; your analysis is superb. I love how Teddy looks over to Kelly a few times and looks surprised then just smiles. She totally takes you on a journey with this song. She started out slow and acts mostly like a BGV so we can really hear his voice especially for those that have never heard of him. Then she just kicks it up a notch each line and blows you away by the end.
The first couple times I watched it, the part that you mention her “e” sounds like jazz music, I really thought it was the guitar making that sound. She’s just beyond amazing and she’s turned me into a fan of Teddy.
Just a FYI, there’s a couple clips of behind the scenes of them getting ready for this. I think it’s on the KC show socials.
Aaw thank you so much ❤️☺️!!
I'm so glad you discovered Teddy, he's amazing (as you obviously know haha) 🙌. I want to hear Kelly and him on more collabs, they sound great together!
I'll go check out the behind the scenes ❤️
I’ve watched others react to this collaboration, & I was hoping you’d join in on the party. And btw, I have the same facial expressions when a singer wows me. 🙌🏼
@@HegeOfficial The clips show how they had very little rehearsal before the performance.
❤❤ Amazing duet. Their voices blend so well together. I love how she’s so respectful of other artists and let’s them shine more. SO GOOD. 🙌🏻👏🏻
100% agree
❤❤ always watch yours to the end!! Thank you for doing this one i love their voices together i wouldn't be mad at a recorded version on this or anything they want to sing together! Their voices together are smooth like butter haha and give me goosebumps on my Goosebumps everytime i listen to this! Especially that high "see" kelly hits towards the end just stop it kelly stop being so damn good!
Aaw, thank you
This is just 💥🔥🔥🔥 love KELLY AND TEDDY!! Lady first 🎶🎶🎶❤️🔥
Was waiting for this one! Thank you !❤❤
It’s really Teddy Swims and Kelly Clarkson. This is his song, he’s taking the lead. Loooove Kelly asked to be apart of it.
These two need to do an album together NOW!
Please check out the kellyoke Trouble Blues
Yes please! You will lose your shit, Hege!
@@ngtngt44also very eager to get a vocal analysis of that one ☝️
It's coming for sure!! ☺️
Thank you for another great commentary! ❤❤
I LOVE your Kelly reactions. You have an amazing ear and point out vocal intricacies (which Kellys voice is packed with) that i would normally completely miss. I love how much you appreciate this Godesses extraordinary instrument. Kelly just covered All The Man That I Need by the late great Whitney Houston. It is sublime. Please check it out if you have a chance. Keep up the great reactions!🙏
Aw thank you so much!! ☺️❤️ This made me so happy!
❤❤ love your channel
Aw, thank you so much
I love them both but Kelly is a beast
After this was shown on TV, Tedy is now more recognaisable. LOSE control next week had a huge peak on charts
I love that! He deserves all the recognition ☺️🙌
@@HegeOfficial i think this is one of the best duets in music history.
And think people don't want duets with her ;)
Few days ago, on official website there was an info, that today where will be Pink and BabyFace. But they changed something. Strange.
Also, before the summer break, on the guest list was J.Lo. still wasn't aired.
🎉🎶💜 love!
💜☺️✨!!
Syncopation is the word you’re looking for I believe.
I was talking about playing "behind the beat", not the same as syncopation ☺️ but thank you.
❤❤
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤ An extra for Hege. 😉
Aaw thank you 🥰🙏
Was hoping that you would react to this. Loved it. Did you see that Kelly sang "Cure for Me" by Aurora yesterday?
I saw Aurora had shared it to her story, but I didn't want to hear any of it in case I'm doing a reaction ☺️
🧡❤️🩷💗
It is the people that have not studied music that get it. What they do is a gift, not training or music theory. It is from living the pain and suffering and it all just comes out. It is from the deepest parts of their despair and loss.
Why not both? I understand you probably mean that as a compliment to the musicians to make it all about talent and emotion, but it's not. Let's acknowledge the years of hard work they have put into training, playing and gaining the musical knowledge AND skills that they have.
And as a musician who have studied and honed my craft too - I get the theory, so your point doesn't really make sense.
When I said I didn't know how to explain the beat in a way that would make sense to non-trained people, that doesn't take anything away from neither the musicians nor the listener. I'm simply saying I'm not sure how to explain the actual theory behind the groove in an understandable way.
@@HegeOfficial As a musician, there is a big difference between talent and a gift. They could have both, but one usually reigns supreme. And from what I see in Teddy, the gift is King.
@@OSWCrosshair2002 ok, but you said that "it's the people who haven't studied that get it", in response to the part where I'm talking about how I don't how to explain the function of being a bit on the backend of the beat to enhance the groove. And I disagree that only untrained people would get that ;) However, the point you responded to wasn't about skill/talent/gift anyway, it was about whether or not I'd be able to explain the theory to those people who don't necessarily have the same vocabulary for things as a schooled musician.
So it's heg a ?
Здравствуйте. Когда будет реакции на Диану Анкудинову? Очень многое пропускаете
oof, I know, I really should get back to her :)
less white?
As in it's a groove/way to play the beat that's more often used in music genres created by Black people ☺️.
