So he IS capable of passable vocals. If only he could make the effort to give a s*** more often. Went to see them live and it was all growling, errors on two or three song-like big mistakes going at the wrong moment and repeating verses-terrible feedback noise and a general lack of soul. Bummer cuz it cost a LOT. Get a fucking album out already so there’s something to listen to and a legacy, paying hundreds to take a gamble hoping he’ll turn up with a little respect for the audience is not how people plan their lives and want to spend money. Lots of comments on live videos say the same thing and it sucks that it’s true. The man is a very good lyricist, make them shine for f’s sake
Lucretia needs its bass line back!!! this is not goth anymore but a kind of soft metal sound... Its great but it sounds like someone else tribute than a real SOM concert..
Soft metal is a stretch ;) No, it´s just kind of alternative rockmusic. Not very appealing to be honst. Not my cup of tea. Eldritch started singing so weird that it is almost unbearable. The gig at Royal Albert Hall in ´85 was the peak for SoM, even though they didn´t got along with each other and split right after. It doesn´t have to be goth. It doesn´t have to be anything really. SoM is not something I´m listening to anymore, and I haven´t for many years. Also, the drumsound is becoming very annoying by now. SoM=not relevant.
