Love the concept of ‘saving’ a day and not spiral in the ‘the whole day is ruined even though it is just 1pm’ blackhole. When I have unproductive mornings I like to have an early lunch and pretend it is breakfast and the day is just starting (even if it is 2pm). I have my whole morning routine early in the afternoon to start back on the right track for the other half of the day.
i love this concept. grew up with a parent who thought the beginning part all the time. i now catch myself thinking that way too. i’m gonna have to use this mindset now
I have the mindset that if I don't wake up in the exact same time as my alarm rings, my day is wasted. But one day I woke up 2pm and then said to myself "Okay try your best and make the day count." and guess what, I was more productive than most of the days that I wake up around 9am. It's funny because I woke up at 4am with no prep and didn't do anything productive because I was overwhelmed with the time that I woke up. This shows that it doesn't matter what time you wake up, waking up early doesn't always mean 1000% productivity and that's okay. thank you Hanna for the comforting video

Not hannah saving MY day with this video. hannah your videos always put me in the mood I need to be in. Today it was saving my day, sometimes it’s taking it slow, literally just always spot on. it feels like we’re on FaceTime which is the absolute best. I’ve been watching since Temple Hannah which is one of my biggest flexes.
This encouraged me to get out of bed and at least try to make the most of what my original morning plan was. I’m always that person goes “oh I’ll get up on the :15” and then it’s :17 and I’m like “welp, got to wait until til the :30 now” and then it happens again and then after over an hour I just go “well it’s too late to get out of bed now since it’s already 90 minutes later” and end up feeling super angry at myself.
i've been working SO hard on this mindset recently!! its so difficult to fit everything in...but when you try its SO much easier than you think. more energy into saving days!!

So this video reminds me of having balance. Gretchen Rubin has a concept called the four quarters method, which is dividing the day into morning, midday, afternoon, and evening. So you can restart at different times. Thanks for including self-care! I have been watching Diane in Denmark channel and on some of her Friday videos called weekly planning self-care gives four self-care assignments/ideas that one can choose from for the week and in those videos she mentioned ideas like spending time in nature, creativity, new recipes, listening to music. You cat is so cute!

I was watching this on my TV (like I always do with your vids) but I had to pause and find my phone so I could recommend turning your duvet cover inside out and then grabbing the corners of your duvet with your duvet cover and then shaking your duvet up high so it goes over your duvet - it’s the best way to put them on! I'm tired of seeing those videos where "that girl" decides to wake up at 5 in the morning and who set standards that are almost impossible. Of course this concept of waking up early is healthy, but it's nice to see that there are girls on TH-cam who are real and similar to me❤
I never realized that people feel like they’ve wasted and can’t get anything done when they’ve slept in. I have Lyme disease so I have to sleep long hours all the time, especially on the weekends. I have to rest to recover from the work week. But doesn’t matter how late I sleep in, when I have the energy I get up and get going doing whatever I have to do or want to do regardless of what time I wake up. I think it’s so silly that we as a society have decided we can only be productive or successful if we get up early in the morning. I’m my most productive from 3pm - 2am lol.
You can wake up very early and do a lot of things, but with a bad mood it will be the same missed day. And if you do it with enthusiasm, with a clear understanding of why you need it, sincerely want to do something, then the day will be successful, even if you do two things in a day)
