Another game that hasn't been fixed that I think deserves attention is Stuntman from 2002. The AI is broken and doesn't follow its intended scripting, thus rendering a fair amount of missions unfinishable. Driv3r is on the same engine and I don't know if you were able to test some of the missions in the campaign with 2.0 but it exhibits similar behavior. You won't be able to complete mission 2 due to this emulation bug.
Beyond Good & Evil is also a good game to test your PS2. If it's hardware after model 70000, you will get an audio glitch after playing normally for a little while. You'll know it when you hear it.
If anyone wants to look into playing The Godfather, I'd recommend playing the PS3 version on RPCS3. It's an enhanced edition and ultimately better than the PS2 version and it works amazingly with PS3 emulation. At least to say it's been perfect for me.
Kingdom Hearts still has those weird lines on dialog and menu textures when you upscale. Messing with the offsets kinda clears up some of it, but not all of it, or even introduces new artifacts.
More fixes: Freekstyle no longer has invisible walls on the tracks. Rayman 2: Revolution (from my medium testing) has no game-breaking cutscenes. Toy Story 3 no longer has bloom ghosting. Fixes needed: Shox has some texture glitches. Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix has bloom light ghosting (can be fixed by switching to software and back to hardware) and there is present z-fighting on many distant textures. Stuntman's driver AI is still screwed up. What a beautiful emulator. I love it.
R-Type Final had a strange issue on the Dimension Jump level where the background didn't render correctly with the effect. I wonder if that has been fixed?
Been using the nightly for them and the performance was great. No glitches as far as I know. Played the trilogy well. Updated to the latest today and saw an improvement in 5 the most. Previously had frame drops on an older gpu in my old laptop. Just remember to switch the emulator settings to wide screen 16:9 and in game too. And change the internal resolution to something more crisper. Happy hunting fellow ace.
Great improvement, Looks great with the TimeSplitters Resurgence Mod in my channel. Lights still bleed through buildings but I can mod the lights out as a temp fix
Last year I was playing "Star Wars: Racer Revenge" on my Steam Deck, and it was running great until I got to "The Grand Reefs" toward the end of the game and track textures got so glitchy that I couldn't navigate the track properly, forcing me to abandon the playthrough. I hope it's been fixed since, 'cause that was one of my personal favorites as a kid.
I say if you want to see improvements or want to know why your copy of a game still doesn't work submit the issues to PCSX2 forums and be professional and detailed about it. The best way to address a problem is to know what leads or creates the problem. For example, with me, the only way that I can play Medal of Honor Vanguard without visual abnormalities or slowdowns is to use Software rendering and NOT use the "50 fps" patch which seems to not function properly and will cause slowdown. Also, even though the emulator my suggest to leave V-Sync, have it enabled anyway by default. Why? You may get random "micro-slowdowns" if you leave it off. I do love that the emulator suggests the best settings overall and gives a good summary of what most settings do and the pros and cons of them. Before 1.7, you were basically on your own in terms of figuring out how to configure emulator settings and it was rarely intuitive.
Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 unfortunately has not been fixed, vertical lines run across the screen at every resolution, causing a screen-tearing like effect, but vertical instead of horizontal.
Toca Race Driver 2 works faultlessly in v 1.74013 I play it a bit on xlink kai LAN MODE over the internet with my cousin and it works FAULTLESSLY in 4k 60 FPS Graphically and Performance wise. All the Burnout Games suffer from Lens Flare issues in 2 player mode in the very latest updates creating lighting vertical lines which while NOT unplayable are annoying.(ONLY in the 2nd players portion of the screen) on Burnout 3 Burnout Revenge and Burnout Dominator. What is impressive in the burnout games now though with the update is the patch to make the 2 player mode run in 60 fps like the 1 player mode does!! Hopefully they can do that in other games too like ATV OFF ROAD FURY 4 a two player 60 FPS PATCH in that game would be great too.
Mercenaries still has some audio issues, Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria still needs a lot of tweaking and can't run at 4k. Lastly, Final Fantasy X-2 also can't render at 4k (at least for me it can't). Still good to see pcxs2 is constantly getting updates. Hopefully these games get fixed too 😅🙂.

i hoped they had feature to enable or disable motion blur and blurry image i know they had this feature anti blurry image but in some game they still looks soo blur like nfs most wanted, bully, gta sa.
I think if a game has a Progressive Scan patch, that will help to eliminate motion-blur.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 ah yes progressive scan the feature that had in god of war 1 and 2 i leave that off and soften in gow 1 i turn off too and game look sharp i think yeah the progressive scan and soften its the problem but some game in the display setting no have kind of that option it has to do with the graphic setting or hack patches.
Yakuza 1 and 2 had huge ghosting problems last I tried. Any news for those?
It's been greatly reduced, though not entirely gone.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 Thanks, I'll have to try again soon.
How about Sniper Elite? The game got a pretty terrible graphical issue especially when playing with the coop mode
I wonder if Dirge of Cerberus was fixed
Does this version include the retroachievements feature or is that seperate?
included
Is this update available on linux also?
I would imagine so, although I have no way of testing.
colin mcrae rally 05 is still broken? its sad, thanks ppsspp - that version works perfectly
can you do best way to play bully pls :)
OMG the choice of music in the end part of the video gave me a headache.
Awesome ❤
Are they working on making it run natively on m1 silicon?
I believe it already does.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 it doesn't, it runs through rosette 2
3:20 Is that a flute having a seizure? 🫨
FINALLY!! And it took them only 10y to fix Burnout games!
Have they ever fixed Battlefield 2 only running in Software mode?
Battlefield does run fine in hardware mode now, but there are occasional frame hitches.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760thanks! I've gotta got it a try!
is steering wheel support working in 2.0??
so sad about the stuntman games
even if they do fix the graphics in true crime NY the input latency is too high to enjoy the game anyway sadly
They need to bring back shader support. What a absolutely stupid decision to remove it.
For people that use the Nightly builds, True crime, Manhunt 2 and The Godfather can run fine. Nightly is better than using the stable build, with almost daily updates to the program.
