This is probably one of the best lectures I’ve ever seen discussed. I only command wildland but all of this is still 100% relevant. All of our standard fire fighting orders in watch outs are all because somebody or some bodies died and learn the hard way. Checklists and procedures on these fires are happening before we even get there. Good command isn’t just good to have. It is absolutely mandatory.
