@@MLSNYC88 they market their FG as an FG MG so supposedly for an AG surface as well as FG but I'm not convinced personally. Would be nice to get an elite AG FT for sure.
Thank you so much for the League review. They are WAY more realistical boots to own for me as I just play with friend and spending 200+ on a pair is a "bit rich" for me currently 😅
Depends what & when you buy. This year I’ve gotten (new) 2pr of copa sense .1 for $75 each & 1pr of predator elite low for $124. Also got youth version of predator elite for my kid for $48. Puma can also usually find good deals on but nike almost never on sale in my area.
I have a wide foot, I got these true to size (UK10.5) as the lock down was an issue with the previous elite FT’s in a half size up (UK11) I find these league’s are tight generally (before break in time) but the lock down is a real issue, a tight boot shouldn’t feel like it wants to slide off on every step. What you said is spot on they feel far too shallow. I’m torn between sending them back and keeping them as the colourway is the best in the new preds and aesthetically look 10/10.
I think performance wise it's probably not worth holding onto them for looks. Might be worth sending them back, that shallow feeling really is a bit of a problem :(
I just bought the elite version of these only due the fact my pal bought the leagues and said the lock down on the heal was dreadful, esspecially If you dont lace to the top eyelits he said there just didnt feel like enough lock down
@@BootManSam it's certainly on the list and I've actually already tried them. Can confirm very good for the price and I would prefer them to this personally.
when it comes to sizing, i think the big issue is that adidas and nike convert differently from UK to US. notice how in adidas the difference is always 0.5 from UK up to US. Nike and a few other brands like mizuno use a full 1.0 difference. so naturally you will wear a larger size in UK sizing for adidas, but the US size will be the same great review btw, thanks for the content. grateful to have someone review takedowns because none of my buddies will wear elite level boots and this way i can recommend boots to them.
I agree that is part of the sizing issue. BUT, at the same time these are a different UK size than my F50s and Nike boots but at the same US size. Disaster! Thanks for watching 👍
Hello buddy, i have a question for you. I have US11.5 size in my nike tiempo legend 10 elite. So what is my right size for this predator? 45 1/3 or 46?
So to give you a reference for me, I'm wearing a US8 in the Tiempo Legend 10 Elite, and also a US8 in this predator. I'm going to use US sizes only here to avoid confusion with how each brand uses sizing. I wear a US7.5 in the F50 and most Adidas boots normally (some exceptions such as F50 pro, current & previous Pred generations). So for me this is half a US size up from what I would normally buy in an Adidas boot. But that is the same size I buy in most current Nike boots. To make sweeping brand sizing statements is something I try and avoid, but in this case hopefully it helps.
It's designed for it. I do think the studs are a little long ideally and I'd like to see it be less aggressive with more studs, but Adidas say it's for multi surfaces.
I haven't actually worn the gloro 2 but in hand that's a very nice feeling boot and might be one worth considering instead of this if you're not in need of the Predator Elite looks.
If the gloro II are comparable to gloro from 2020, they should work well. I had those for about 2 years before switching to copa sense .1. Took a long time to get sole separation & warrant the trash bin. Copa sense were much more comfortable & no break in needed; also never blisters. Recently got predator elite; toebox more narrow but haven’t tried on pitch yet.
Just as I say in the video. On this boot they're too long. And the other plastic studs around them are also too long. It might work on a different soleplate.
@akosburian4422stud length can cause the same issue as too aggressive pattern. More likely to catch on quick changes of direction. If you’re not fast or technical, may be less of an issue.
If you are going to make a commercial for a corporation who continues to take the footballing community for granted, just say so from the start. 3rd tier synthetic over a Leather option in the same price bracket? This is disingenuous and sad.
What the hell are you talking about? At what point did I say they were better than a leather option in the same price bracket? Don't be as asshole on here, I don't have time for it. None of this video is sponsored paid for or provided by Adidas, I have no need or want to promote or support this product or any other Adidas products, all you have to do is look at the review I posted of the previous generation a couple of weeks ago. Your comment is sad, and if you're going to be a dick about someone creating content for the community and doing a damn lot more for it than you do then feel free to not watch my content and piss off and find something else to do with your time. As for your Luca Toni question, why the hell would I want to have a conversation with you now about football boots or my collection.

The fact they’ve never made an AG version with the fold over tongue baffles me. Everyone I know plays AG at least once or twice a week.
