These are cracking hills, some of my first Munro's and Corbetts. I remember venturing up on a Friday evening camping at the Wee Campsite and do these the following morning. Great condition on the first day, thanks for bringing back some memories. Cheers Jon
Brilliant as ever Kev . Must be my favourite Munro/ Corbett combo. It’s stunning . Done it twice as I wasn’t sure I’d touched the cairn on one of the Munros . Keep them coming mate 😊
Amazing shots!!! Mountain camping offers a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thanks for sharing these breathtaking views; they remind me of my recent adventure! Liked!!!
Nice adventure Kev. Glad you popped through the cloud on day one. Fuar Tholl is a beautiful wee hill. Nice spot you found on Sgorr Ruadh to see the crags too.
Kev that was superb and to get rewarded with them views after the clag lifted was just brilliant, that camp spot looking over the Torridon giants was to die for and a cracking sunset well done mate. Atb Ally 👍👍
Cracking couple of days out on some much underrated hills, shame about the clag - seems to be a feature of 2024 (could be worse). Thanks for uploading, Kev.🏴🏔👍
Awesome views nice wild camp I like the sunglasses 😢 cool I haven’t done the Corbett as when I went to do it the river was in spate and I climbed Sgurr Ruadh in mist so nice to see views cracking footage mate I will have to return there take care
Some views those like Kev! Wow!!! Who would have thought it with that claggy start to the day. At one point it looked like Islands floating in the sky. Brilliant - and that tent is still serving you very well I see :)
@@Kev_Russ That Asta looks quite canny, watched a lad out in one a few nights ago on YT - he had the dark one with a half solid / half mesh inner by the looks of it.
That looks a great Corbett Kev. A fantastic trip combining it with the Munros. When we did the 2 Munros never saw a thing in the clouds all day. Definitely need to revisit sometime on a good day. Looked an excellent spot for your camp. ATB Derek
The first day after the initial clag ☁️ was well worth all the effort Kev, absolutely stunning views 🏔️🏔️🏔️ loving the banter 😅 and the good ladies pink sunglasses 😎 shhoooperb mate 😂 atb Brian 👍
Superb Kevin. Done a few up that area and not always got the best weather. Had to abandon these 2 as weather was crap. I will need to return one day but I’ll wait for a good weather window. 👍
No better day for the pink shades Kev. Current scenes were just jaw dropping. So glad that you got above the clag early. Atmospheric Sunset but a misty start 2nd day even though it looked like it was going to burn through. Which songs were Robin singing? 😃😃. The talent scouts will be all over this!! Rough climb down! Another great vid Kev - have a good week mate 👍👍
That was quite a strenuous round Kev, good effort mate 💪Was up there in the snow at New Year. Fabulous mountains and views. All the best Kev. Ian and Meg 🙋♂🐶
Ey up Kevlar. Brilliant stuff mate, stunning views on that first evening, shame they didn’t stay for the second day but that’s the mountains for you. That descent looked brutal mate over the boulder field. That’s a proper case of careful as you go! You and Robin should get paid by Aldi, you don’t half do some advertising for them. You need to be on at least what Kevin the carrot gets! 🤣🤣
Lovely couple of days up high but the first night looked pretty special Kev... Really nice to get your just rewards... Boootiful... Have you considered getting the wife's sunnies insured - just a thought? 🤔😂😂😂
Great trip Kev and Robin! I hope Robin gets discovered too! Really enjoyed the views along the way, especially the sunshine above the inversion. Really steep and challenging climbing… that one section of rocks were all broken in squares and rectangles- really interesting, but rough hiking. I can imagine sore and tired knees and legs! Loved the views! 💚💚👌😄
Clag is gash eh Paul. Haha feature length. Wis a long one for me eh 😉 ooft 35 in a bothy. Jeez. 🤨 Aye always happens eh. Clears oan the way doon. Robin and his nuts eh. 😂
Personally, I find you can always complain, Kev! It disnae always help like, but let's face it, the Scottish definition of clag is pure keech, in' it? Especially when it's yer first feature-length video, eh?!! Aye - you've done us a' well, we'll be looking forward to the next one, now! Actually, that usually happens to me in Wales, come to think of it: tramp up Snowdon - well, me and my pal got the train actually - fantastic views o' the ridges - until the last 200 feet! Thick fog at the top station - it was hardly even worth climbing up the steps to the top... Cadair Idris was the same - start at Kings Youth Hostel, fairly easy walk up the side - then as soon as you set foot on the summit plateau - clag. It made the wee bothy on the top a pretty sociable place mind - when there's 35 o' ye's in there - that does tend to happen! Honest, it wis like Noah's Ark: there were rangers leadin' everybody oot in their twos and threes through this total pea-souper, to the top of their chosen paths as, once you'd dropped 25 feet, it was clear again!! Oh - and I see ye've been practicing yer Gaelic: Torridonian - that's quite a big word... And who needs wrap o'clock when you've got Robin's nuts, eh...?!!
Wow truly great adventure hiking and Wild Camping beautiful nature
