Your grapes 🍇 are looking like they’re ready to take off for you and produce HEAVILY this season A-A-RON!!! Thanks for sharing and stay blessed fam! -Calvin
Is it possible for you to do a show on how you grow asparagus? I am really interested in the grow bags that you grow your asparagus in. Could you provide the size of the bags and where the bags can be purchased. Thank you.
We have several varieties of asparagus growing on our property. We don't necessarily grow them in grow bags for several reasons, did you see a video that grows them in bags?
Great video and great setup. That's a LOT of grape plants bro! Our Thompsons woke up first, then flame, black, and crimson. The flames were dug up and moved in January and are looking like they're getting ready to flower.
I have learned the more heat tolerant Varietals the sooner they break dormancy. Age also plays a factor too. The older the actual plant is the later it breaks dormancy regardless of the Varietal... Our Zinfandel is a great example of just that!
How do you know which way to prune a grapevine? I have a number of grape vines and live in the state of Maine. It seems that Kane pruning is recommended for some of the varieties I have. Some of my grapes were on the property before I got it And I don’t know how to prune them. So I was wondering how you knew which way to prune yours? Is there a book or something to read? That would help me decide?
A lot of European and wine making grape Vines usually need to be on a spur / Cordon prune. More common seedless and California varieties are typically very vigorous and can produce fruit on last year's growth, we prune those in a cane style. We can make a video on that for you very soon!
I have a small side yard like that as well. I didn’t think it would get enough sun there. About how many hours are you getting in that spot? Mine is on the west side of my house, so the wall faces east and I feel the house blocks too much sun. Thanks for the videos. I’m also,in the Phoenix area.
@@AmzBackyardOrchardandVineyard ok thanks for reply. I think mine only gets about 3 hours of direct sunlight over there. Maybe if they grow to top of the wall, they would probably get another hour or so. Maybe I’ll give it a try and see. Thompson seedless aren’t too expensive to try out.
We actually cover up our first year grapevines with 60% shade cloth to protect them from the harsh sun, heat and wind the first year in the ground. Usually from about June through August.

It's still soon to tell, but I'm hopeful for a good crop this season. As soon as we start seeing grapes forming I'll let you

I feel you may be right my friend, I can't wait to see where and when they produce on the vine itself!
Please do a video on the soil, fertilizer and watering of your berries please.

Hey thanks! I feel like I could find room to grow a few more varieties LOL

Where did you move your Flame?

Excellent question!

Our main vineyard wall is the east side of our home, so the wall faces West. It receives about 6 hours max of sun.
By 14:00 the main vines are in the shadows of our house. They get direct sunlight During the summer season between 09:00ish - 14:00ish + -

Our sun here in the desert is so intense, I've learned these grapevines can take very few hours of direct sunlight and still produce plenty!
