Yes sir, even when I was solving ur advanced PYQs book, I read this question half and gave up.... At first I couldn't even understand the text solution ... all because of panic. But when I gave it some time and thought it fundamentally, I realised that thinking about centripetal force as the so-called 'kinetic effect' was the key factor in the solution. Even in my mock tests, I tend to leave questions after reading 3-4 lines coz I get confused but now I will keep patience and remeber ur words that jo aayega fundamental thinking pr based hi aayega. Thank you sir for the hope and motivation

sir while solving / analysing for OPTION B and OPTION C can we use the following approach: since we know that V=E . d and we know that E= k q/r^2 therefore V = k q/r i.e. V is inversely proportional to radius hence, outer surface will have less/ lower voltage than inner surface ( option c ) please reply sir! it will be great to know if my approach is correct or not! time stamp : 8:25
Nope bro , kq/r2 is only for point charge , here there is charge accumulation and electric field direction is required for the decrease or increase in potential which can be only concluded through circular motion equation that electric field is outwards and going in its direction potential decreases What you are trying is writing a equation of point charge If you still want to use this equation you first need to find in which surface charge accumulation is there and then assuming electric field due a electron in that surface
