Am making this comment as a christian, a catholic for that matter. First and foremost, Metha ya Kagoni does don't subscribe to Kioi's beliefs, but this is a forum where we accommodate everyone, where everyone is given a hearing. We may not agree with what they say but they live amongst us. Atheists are our brothers, cousins, sisters, neighbours, friends, etc. I would also wish to share a story i read about a certain Bishop in the US, called Fulton J Sheen. In one of his visits to the hospital, he met a man who was wasting away with cancer, he approached his bed and greeted him: ' Jesus loves you.' The man answered him, 'go away, i don't believe in God.' The bishop went away but came back the following day and greeted him with the same greetings. The man again told him again, 'go away, i don't believe in God.' The bishop paid the man several visits, he never preached to him but all he would tell him was 'Jesus loves you.' Then the man died. When the bishop came to see him that afternoon, the nurses informed him of his death. He asked the nurse, 'how did he die?' The Nurse responded, 'he died saying: Jesus have mercy on me a wretched sinner!' The bishop broke into tears. He knew that he had won one more soul for Jesus! Christianity is not about insults and pointing fingers. No that's where we miss the point. Its about sitting down to dine with sinners, welcoming them with an embrace, just like Jesus did! Its about showing love coz only love can be bring true conversion. Thats why OUR GOD IS LOVE.

My believed in God depends on the gift of life. He breathed in me the breath of life. I don't need to debate whether there is God or no through theories. I believed in God the Father the Son and the Holy spirit. Jesus Christ is my personal saviour. Bible is my advisor on choosing between the right and wrong. kirimo kiu nikihotwo in Jesus name.

The disconnect you are having with religious people comes from the fact that you have read widely and are more informed than most religious people who have only read the bible and the daily nation. “I DON’T BELIEVE IN GOD” That Statement defeats the argument. One cannot refuse to believe in something he acknowledges. Why does he mention God if he does not believe in Him? You can’t mention something that does not exist. If it does not exist, then it has no name. God has a Name.
The guy “purports” to be learned and many have been on that road, not even to mention Paul in the New Testament. His state of “unbelief” in God, is his Faith.

We (Christians) are the greatest impediment to what we profess. Read all the comments and you will wonder which God we so proclaim.
