Return of the ice emperor was the most disappointing episode for me. When it was first leaked I was so excited because I’ve been waiting since 2019 for the writers to finally address Zane’s trauma and guilt from the Never Realm since it got brushed off immediately after he left. That really out of character for Zane because he’s always been portrayed as more than ‘just a robot’ in earlier seasons yet he has had no emotional reaction to the decades he spent as the ice emperor. So naturally I was excited for that episode only to watch it and to find out the ice emperor was treated like comic relief and his trauma not addressed at all. I liked Pixal’s monologue to Zane when he was unconscious in the episodes following but overall it was just so underwhelming. I realize now the writers probably will never address it again in the show because Zane constantly gets sidelined anyway but still want to be optimistic since it could open up really interesting storylines if handled correctly.
bro really just froze an entire species and almost wiped out all life in an entire realm without event apologizing or anyone bringing it up ever again i felt like i was losing my mind
I don’t know if people will agree but for some reason I just LOVED the first two episodes of season two. Seeing them trying to afford rent in the pent house thing and then them living and training in the shitty apartment was just nice to me.
I think if Tommy andreasean didn’t leak the name “return of the ice emperor” it wouldn’t have been as disappointing as it was because people thought it would be big but it was just underwhelming.

5:28 About the first episode thing. It probably wouldn’t be rated so low if the two pilot episodes were easy to find. Like it is really hard to find free high quality versions. So I think it is a issue of this is most people’s intro to the series not that the episode itself is bad.
@Randomrainfrog its the norm to call scientific facts a theory For an example if you read some books about gravity you will notice that some of them refer to Newton laws as newton theory of motion, even when the calculations and evidence we have prove that it can't be wrong, at least in a visible level So calling something a theory isn't doubting it's validity, its just a common scientific term to describe those ideas

Nah mate, I love the Kaju Protocol, the visuals are amazing, black and white with hints of colour, and its cool to see how the preeminent would exist in death. The souls within her departed to the departed realm, leaving just a Kaju, a shell of what she once was.
Maybe a way to fix kaiju protocol is replace the preeminent with the great devourer and space out fight scenes with it going back on a rampage after temporarily rendering pixel out of commission and finally defeated the same way the preeminent was in this episode. Idk just a thought i guess
I thought season 7 was pretty good too. Yea the inconsistent animation and sometimes poorly written dialogue is bad but i would say it is worth a watch and for how the production was it is susprising how watchable it is

my least favourite is rise of the snakes beacause: 1 the suits are ass 2 the fight scenes are boring 3 the characters found out about the green ninja prophecy way too early in my opinion
Imo the Kaiju Protocol completely ruins the Preeminent as a villain. This super imposing, scary, and threatening creature that provided an amazing climax to season 5 is just dealt with in one ten minute episode super easily. Also they made it a comical fight and it’s too ridiculous to be taken seriously. I just skip this episode when watching season 11, as well as The Absolute Worst, which ironically, is by far the worst episode in the series. Just filler, not entertaining, and it uses the anime style. Not that the style itself is bad, but it should NOT be used in a show about Lego characters. Seeing the ninja in that style still traumatizes me to this day.
