The original X995 is still in service in Europe today, working for Green Cargo, from I’ve heard. I ran AEM-7’s in the US for which they were built based upon the tests done with X995 in the 70’s. Have to admit just listening to your video, brought back a lot of memories after a 40 year career at Amtrak running trains. 😊

Awesome job on the restoration of Amtrack x 995 10/10 also for your next video on the restoration please restore the General Electric E 60 locomotive it was built in 1980 by General Electric Amtrak had some and even New Jersey transit if you do restore one, you can either put it into Amtrak phase or New Jersey transit livery one GE E60 locomotive can be found in the railroad museum of Pennsylvania outdoors it is weathered a lot they were converted to passenger, but were originally designed for freight on the north east corridor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania @Gustaveime if you see this comment please get the locomotive back to life it’s one of my favorite electric locomotives of all time I would like too see it restored it has 6,000 horsepower if you are wondering how much horsepower it has
