i know hoyo is sponsoring hoyofair but they better be paying them A TON for this if they continue ngl. theyre doing the game a favor by visualizing in-game flavor text. this is literally in-game level cutscene. they better commission them for official stuff and do this more often

I was the most hype watcjong Hoyofair when this came on! This personally set a standard for Hoyofair releases tbh. The fanmade stories using genshin character models and songs are still fun, sure, but book/weapon/artifact/mats lore adaptations would be >>>>

How do you know that? I thought her identity was never confirmed in the story
she's not. she's the seelie
She's actually one of the horse spirits mentioned at 0:51. The book goes into detail about how the horse spirits were white and how the lady was wearing white and had white hair. When the boy leaves the forest at the end, it is said that he hears a whinnying sound (a sound horses make) behind him. In the original Chinese version, it says he hears "蹄声", or hoof sounds, behind him. While the EN translation only mentions one of the lady's white hairs falling onto him, the CN one uses the words "白色鬃毛", meaning "white mane hair." (I think they changed it to "hair" tho because "white mane hair" sounds kinda weird)
Quite a few people say she's a Seelie? I have nothing against this theory, but I really want to know why, since I don't remember anything about Seelies. If you have the time, someone plz explain it to me; I'm so confused 😭.
I know why people say that she's Morax (because of the golden eyes, the Rex Incognito books, and cause she's obviously not human), but the book says that she "hide[s] herself away, away from the majestic, kindly gaze of that great Lord of Geo," so I can definitely count that theory out.

I think the seelie theory come from the fact that seelies were described as having beautiful human like body, and are closely related to the moon sisters along with the fact that they used to guide mankind and share their wisdom to them.
I think it was hinted somewhere they had pale skin too.
That description fit the lady, especially when she talks about the moon sisters.
But I still think it makes more sense for her to be the horse spirit with all the hints.

I am wondering how much hoyo story writer tells the fan-animation about their future lore. Like the design of certain characters or things that never been shown in the canon story. Or the fans made it all up?
This is not future lore, it's a book from the game's lunch or 1.1 animated
Also, the designe is probably made up however Hoyoverse could also have given ideas, it's not sure how much involvement they have with theses fan animated projects or if they even have any
