For those who are confused...
It IS Joel screwing up. Joel has control of the thumbstick, which controls both the roll (pressing down when on the ground) and the spears (holding the stick up). All Adam controls are the jumps and the sword attacks. The game has an NES style control scheme.
So please don't blame Adam, it's Joel who's being the ass in this one.
To be fair, I don't think Joel realized that he had control of the rolling and the spears? I myself probably wouldn't think I had control of them either, since it seems like it would be more the attacker/jumper's set of skills rather than my own. I wouldn't call Joel as ass, just confused.
Nickyisnotcool exactly, from the way it looked to me, Adam had the attacks and Joel, using the thumbstick, controlled using different attacks and moves. holding down for crouching attacks, up for spear, plunge attacks, etc. and if Adam would stop yelling to explain things better, or if they slowed down like Joel seemed to need to, they could time the combination of their moves together and not get hit in the face XD

Hey, that's me!
If this is the first time Joels played this (highly likely) and all he has are the directional controls, I don't see how he would know it's his fault. There aren't exactly many games where 'additional controls' such as with the spear or roll are mapped to a 2 button combination, especially when Xbox has enough buttons for it not to have to require a 2 button set up.
Maybe if Adam would shut the fuck up shouting and whining like a 5 year old for just 10 damn seconds (like every other video) and tell Joel the controls properly, this wouldn't have been as hard to watch.
He's just angry because he's fat.
I think Joel did know though, that or he's rock stupid. I've never played this game but even I was able to figure out how the controls were mapped just by listening to them.
Besides, there are a number of points in the video where I'm almost dead certain that Joel is intentionally messing up to screw with Adam.
These two are the dynamic duo, the power couple, the dream team.

I really don't know why a few people are saying this was "unbearable." I thought everything Adam was saying was fine. He was telling Joel when he was jumping and Joel really was the one rolling. I didn't even think there was as much screaming in this video compared to other ones.
Edit: Actually this turned out to be one of my favorite ones they've done. Broforce is still probably tops though :P

If my calculations are correct, I believe Adam asked Joel "What was that noise?" 13 times. I didn't even count all of the times he was just laughing whilst making noise. I can't help but laugh every time his anger turns into hysterical laughter.

These two make some of the funniest videos, and I think they are great foils for each other, but I wouldn't mind seeing Joel/Adam paired up with someone else just to mix it up. Would love to see a How to with Joel and Burnie (made a great pair on Gauntlet.)

For everyone who is confused, Adam and Joel BOTH control rolling. Joel has to be pressing down and Adam has to press action for them to roll. You would think Adam would have figured out that Joel crouches whenever he sees and enemy and stop rolling to his death :S

Considering how badly Joel did with full control of a keyboard/controller (I'm unsure which) for the Dark Souls 2 'How To', I wouldn't bet too much money on them getting passed the tutorial stage without some major difficulty.
