- Ellen is a big fan of his performance in "The Wolf of Wall Street," and the handsome Leonard DiCaprio was here to tell her about the film and his good friend and co-star, Jonah Hill.
Leo is nominated for a Golden Globe as Best Actor (Musical or Comedy) for his performance in "The Wolf of Wall Street" and is also getting Oscar buzz. He described his favorite scene of the film to Ellen, calling it the "most wild thing" he's ever done in his life.
"It all resulted in this insane sequence in the end where Jonah decides to stuff ham into his mouth as well, and crashes into a plate glass table... and we were doing this CPR sequence, and you know the big challenge that day -- we had to do 70 takes because they couldn't get this ham to stick on my face and they had to put K-Y Jelly, and there's literally a guy there behind this giant window with a plastic spoon just flicking ham on my face all day long as I'm doing this insane sequence! But it was almost... it was one of the most surreal things I've ever done in my entire career." - บันเทิง
Leonardo is the only actor who I feel like takes his full time and energy to study every bit of his characters and legitimately transforms himself into the character. I've never seen anything like it. That's talent.

One of the only people in Hollywood that is actually genuine and never let fame get to his head. He does so many good things for other people and the environment. Leo is a such a role model and beyond that one hell of an actor!
And he's been pro environment conservation for a very long time unlike many famous celebrities out there today. It's like everyone suddenly cares about the environment now because it's "hip." Just so they look good.

What a performance in Wolf of Wall Street. If you're someone who recognizes great acting then seeing his and Jonahs performances in that movie will literally make you just stare at the screen in amazement. It really is somethin else and although it may be long, It just keeps getting better as it nears the end.
***** the way he acted was impeccably accurate to someone on drugs. The only rival would be Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing. But yeah McConaughey really delved into his role and deserved his oscar.

i seriously feel like the academy has decided to fuck with Leonardo Dicaprio. I mean, he has done some of the most amazing movies within his time and he has been nominated too many times, but every year, it gets sad watching him get rejected... :( definitely deserves better.
It's because they didn't have to "promote" him with an oscar, everybody just knows that it is the most known and admired actor since the bginning of the film industry... Every movie he has played in is just breathtaking! My favorite one is Tarantino's Django Unchained, still one of the best movies ever made... Thanks to DiCaprio

Chiwetel deserved it, McCaughney deserved it...it was stiff competition. I agree it could have gone to Leo just as easy as it did to Matt but a Movie about Aids will always beat out a Comedic biopic.
With all the great movies, a ton of people deserved the oscar. Like Merpy Merps said, Chiwetel and McConaughey both also deserved it, along with Leo. However, while in my opinion I think Wolf of Wall Street is Leonardo Dicaprio's best role, McConaughey's best role in my opinion was also Dallas Buyer's Club and I never really heard of Chiwetel until 12 Years a Slave, which actually made me cry, and that's a major achievement for movies. Dude brah i like nvr cry im so manly but really, jokes aside, I think all three actors should've won the oscar. They were all amazing, along with those movies.
