4:49 those structures are actually support/connection beams for iterators. You find them in shorelines because when moon fell down, she ripped those things out of the ground

I was actually one of the participants for this mod, I made the art seen in the trailer and the cover painting of the slugcat on the rain deer weathervane. I also made the room at 12:04 and the one connecting to the left of it, and I really appreciate that you liked it! Nice content, I'll be watching more!

Man, this video turned out great. I know I'm 5 months too late on this one but gotta say, the voice over explaining various aspects of the region or just talking about your gameplay works surprisingly well for Rain World videos and you did it very well, keep up the good work!

This feels like a beta version of metropolis, with the tower being the equivalent of Atop The Tallest Tower. I love the enemy variation here, its something metropolis never got to be. Metropolis mainly just has scavs, dropwigs, and centiwings but it would totally be cool if miros birds were nighttime spawns, cyan lizards were open air spawns, and orange lizards were indoors spawns. Also tone back the scavs, but thats just a given there's WAY too many scav spawns and tolls. I GUESS YOU COULD SAY THEY REALLY TAKE A *_TOLL_* ON YOUR ABILITY TO MAKE IT THROUGH METROPOLIS!
I think a cool idea for an antlion creature would be a massive antlion head in those holes with 2 arms on each side that try to grab you, it would act quite like monster kelp and you could also disable its hands by stabbing them.

That would make sense. So I guess there was once an iterator in the area?

I’d say connection beams, as there are very few beams that directly connect the ground, and they are massive, much larger than that
that kind of pinkish pearls are just misc pearls for tests. there was supposed to be an actual lore pearl, but they forgot to include it.

I think the point of this area is that you play as the survivor and have trouble finding the food to rest in the many shelters
