🐟Species description:
The Grass Carp - also known as White Amur Carp - is a valuable commercial fish It is the only species of the genus white cupids, belongs to the family of carp. It Inhabits the waters of East Asia to southern China. The carp prefers abundantly overgrown ponds because it feeds exclusively on plant foods. Moreover, it eats both aquatic and terrestrial plants (for example, in the form of mown grass thrown into the water). When an artificial breed, it becomes omnivorous.
The Black Carp or the so-called black Chinese Roach is a species of cyprinid fish. It is native to Amur Basin and rivers of Southern China. It can be cultivated in ponds. It prefers freshwater but may live in brackish water. Black carp has massive pharyngeal teeth with well-developed mastication surfaces enabling it to eat molluscs which constitute the basis of its diet. Its body and fins are dark, almost black. The body is oblong and covered with dense scales.

Old Burg Lake:
A small but yet deep lake lost in the swampy woods near Kostroma. Local waters are rich in large fish, among which trophy pike or perch are rather common. Local anglers tell about catching extremely long eels, and some of them even caught catfish. Feeder fishing enthusiasts can catch here bream, common carp or black carp. Especially interesting is the black carp, which is highly valued at the local fish market for its excellent taste.
To access this waterbody you need to be level 12.
