      Thank you for that… I like the apparent simplicity of it…

      I'm so glad you found it then! One of my favourites I've done - though I'm not a 'Big' wreath maker... perhaps one in the making???

    Love it! The braiding stayed flat and shaped so nicely! Love the soft neutral colors on it !! Great tutorial.

      It really is a lovely wreath but… is yard work every truly ‘done’?

    I was looking to make a Christmas nautical Wreath for our boat. The braiding is perfect. Just wondering how you would go about hanging this up. It looks like this is fairly heavy. Great channel. Thank you.

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not as heavy as you might think, depending upon the backing. A wood board would make it heavier, though sturdier. If it is one of the flat wooden bases easy enough to add a little sawtooth hanger. If you are using foam core cut to shape then you can add a loop in the back with a thinner cord. I would add two small loops 3 or 4 inches apart… to spread out the weight…. Then link a third loop through both to hang from. Hope that makes sense!

    Hello. This is great. How has it held up? I’m wondering if the hot glue was enough of an adhesive?

      Thanks Judy! I have a customer to the shop that loved it, and has now made (and sold!!) many of them for Holiday Markets. It's a lovely change from full greenery wreaths I think and can be easily adapted for any season depending upon the florals you pair it with.

    How do you keep it stable

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm assuming you're talking about while you braid the strands? Either weight down the one end or tape it down. I taped it down so I could still 'pull' on the strands a little keep them uniform.

    where did you get the rope?

    It turned out beautiful but your video should have been about half as long.

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Jenny and... I will work at keeping them shorter! It's a tough balance between people wanting more info and those wanting less!

    • @CB-kn1ox
      @CB-kn1ox 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Better to have it longer and people can skip through the parts they're not interested in. Yup :)

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s my thinking…. People can speed through but if the info isn’t there those that want more are out of luck!
