In the 1950’s my grandmother lived at Westbury Road. I used to catch the Hants & Dorset bus from Wimborne Road, Winton to the square by the parish church. The bus stop was close to Cox and Hicks men’s and boy’s outfitters. I would then catch the Burley bus which only ran about three times a week. When it was not running, I would walk to her house via Hightown Road. Happy days indeed. My cousin (who herself lived in Westbury Road) still lives in Ringwood not far from the market square. The last time I was in Ringwood was 2014, but the town hasn’t changed too much. Sad about the railway closing in 1964!
That is a beautiful livery when I was at yellow buses and this service would pass me it was always an old bus but a scania beast This livery should be the whole fleet I do rate Go Ahead for its liveries but First win for best liveries Also this bus has those super comfy long journey seats shows that some manager too care to order a things like this where as a lot of companies don’t care at all Great vid thanks
I believe the seat model used is called the "Lazzerini Ethos" or the "Lazzerini Practico 3840" which I believe are both options from the factory with the Practico 3840 being more popular...

Incredible scenery! Really love the interesting sensation you get from this tour! Thanks so much!
Thanks for watching
Wasn’t there a time when trees were cut back so buses didn’t have to go crashing through woodland to get to the stops? This is a lovely run, though.
