@@mekenyebwobara kawere was based in awendo or migori township those days, but would be always invited in different parts of luo land.all luo bands were either in migori or kericho, respectively due to wishing to conform with the wishes of oluoch kanindo and chandarana, who had insisted on listening to all the songs before recording any of them. out of forty compositions or more, only half would pass the test of kanindo and chandarana. the rejects would be recorded under different labels/ names of the same band. if , for example, kanindo rejected gem lucky compositions, they would go to mashuke or apondo Kochomo and record as Dudi sky jazz ( another name for the same band ). the era of radio cassettes relaxed all these rules, a producer would record every trash taken to them by the band
