Hey as a 25 year old dad games like these I find fun and good for when my daughter is old enough to try. I only watched 10min of this first video and already like your vibe and can tell you are a great dad. Any tips on making TH-cam videos? Also adding your play through to my playlist binge
Cohh I just want you to know, the last 3 bosses in Calamity have THE BEST and CRAZIEST music. You're seriously gonna be missing out if you don't go back.
Just started a hard, hardcore playthrough. Never played it before. Didn't even know it was a game till I saw asmongold cover your take on it. I've put 20 hrs into and I started 3 days ago. So friggin good
@@tedamburgey it is very true. The characters can carry over to any world. You can visit your classic world and grab stuff, then go to your new world and drop it off.
Yea I started on Hard Mode and swapped to standard. Even in like full Warrior Gear enemies were hitting way too hard, yet weren't that much stronger HP-wise. Just got tedious doing corpse runs because an enemy got a lucky hit on ya. I recommend Standard. Their Hard mode should reduce the incoming damage a bit. Currently it's a bit insane. Hard Mode basically forced me to have to cheese enemies with ranged attacks which would've been no fun. Thankfully, you can swap your character + inventory to a new world so I just started over in Standard with my Hard mode gear/inventory/skills.
When i played this, i bounced off of it quickly because there seemed to be no goal or thing to strive for. This is coming from someone who has 300 hours in teraria. Does the 1.0 release change anything? Or was i missing something from earlier builds of this game?
Won't spoil you any details but since you played the earlier versions, after you kill ghorm the devourer (big catterpilar) and build the ancient npc from ghorm's statue (at base), you'll know the amount of content they added by the number of scanners for bosses beyond the great wall
Can someone educate me about this game and terraria? The only similar game (?) Ive played is stardew valley. I've seen cohh play terraria but its too confusing and i can't make heads of tails.
@@jayturk3310 Normal would be best. Then we know how it is MEANT to play like. After that, if he wants to do mods or hard-core frustration, he can as an "aside" to a regular run. Playing "Hard" every game resembles a "microphallus" who drives a colossal pimped-out pickup truck - making up for his other inadequacies.
Why not just watch someone else instead? Novel concept, but there are millions of other TH-camrs here. Why not try one of them instead of complaining about this one?

Youre saying this as if Cohh is playing Core Keeper just for the hell of if, as if this isnt a 1.0 playthrough thats relevant at THIS time. Because this isnt something he put in instead of Wrath, which is supposed to be long term FILLER.

I hate it when you start a game I haven't seen on "Hard" right away - it doesn't give the actual gameplay effect, and I usually get discouraged.
