@@robertgodfrey6411 Indeed. In 1946 a proposal was made for a manned sub orbital spaceflight using modified V2 designs built in britain. Called Megaroc. The government refused to help fund it. Brits could have been in space ten years ahead of the soviets🙄. All that wasted talent is what really hurts.
