Just came across your video. It reminds me of my childhood. I'm American girl born in Kofu and went to a Japanese school until I was 8 years old. We were a large family (8 older brothers and then me). I spoke Japanese and some broken english back then. Little golden hair girl thinking I was Japanese :) I still speak the language fluently. What a blessing for your family to experience life in Japan.

So sorry to see you have to move. I hope your children grow into an identity that that accept and understand through their adolescence. The hard times comes with harder times. Stay strong!
I have moved multiple times in my life. It was a confusing mix of expectations and anxiety. However, there is a saying, "If you live in a place, it's your home. I am sure that you will have a pleasant life in the new place you move to😄

I was confused by the sudden announcement last week about having to move but it's making more sense now. I hope the process won't be too stressful and you can find something close to the kids' schools.
People today have lots of stuff. When we moved in the mid 70’s, my father with us, uncle and his young sons. Helped us move to our house. Took at least 3-4 trips using a van. Even putting fridge, washer, stove and furniture, in the van. We were a family of 7 people.
