Hi Magnus, sorry for the delay in responding. The shooting was done in 2014 and 2017. Everything was filmed at Vilamendhoo island except the whale shark and manta rays. Whale shark and manta rays are 2 very famous diving spots in Maldives and they are close to Vilamendhoo island. They can be reached by boat. I hope I have answered your questions. ROBERTO
