How is it like? I'm an adolescent interested in this career. I was wondering if you can give some advice of the reality of the job!

@@sash2245 thanks, but I hate it already. this was a paid internship and I did not expect much because I do not have a degree yet, but after talking to my coworkers who do have degrees they hate their job as well. we do the same tests everyday, unless we get a different drug, but the method of doing the tests are pretty similar and since I used to work as a production worker, this job feels kinda like a production job. the people with master's degrees are just in their office analyzing papers and this job just feels sad. it's great experience to get bench work, but I don't think that I will ever have any cool projects unless I get my PhD. Maybe it's just my lab that sucks, but this experience opened up my eyes. I think I will switch majors because of it, and major in nursing instead. My internship is for 6 months, so I will stay until then because it counts as clinical experience, but I feel like dying every time I go into the lab because their is so much work, I end up staying 11 or 12 hours sometimes just to finish my batches.

@@brucewayne795 I honestly hate it dude, but I think I just hate the job because of the lab that I work for. My lab just sucks period. I got the job as an internship, and I thought that my job would be cool, but I do the same tests every single day and it is boring as fuck. A lot of my coworkers quit because of how boring the job is and because they work us to death. We are not allowed to leave until we finish our work.I sometimes stay for 12 hours because of the amount of work that I have. I wouldn't mind working 12 hours, but doing the same tests for 12 hours straight is killing my soul. My job is just doing bench work, and I expected that because I do not have a degree yet, but my coworkers who do have bachelor's degrees do the same tasks as me. I don't think that we will ever have cool projects to do unless we have a phd. in 6 months once my internship is over I will be switching my major to nursing, because if I got tired of being in a certain floor/specialty I could just switch and that is what I want because I need change in my life every so often. If you want to be a scientist I will suggest maybe shadowing some scientists in their lab and see how the job is like, their lab might be better than mine, or I suggest going for a phd if you have the money for it.

@@crush9197 Ok very helpful. Do you think any other branch of forensic science would be better?

If you are planning to study in Sweden as I wished long time ago be careful of some places. Karolinska Institute and hospital is the top corruption place in all Scandinavia. The minister of finance called for investigation of the cost of this luxurious hospital and they found out a giant mafia stealing huge money. Likewise, my group leader, Henrik Druid is a thief who has been robbing his own university (Karolinska Institute), VINNOVA, guest researchers and international collaborators. What makes it more disgusting is that the head of the department, Lars Holmgren and Maria von Witting (head of administration) lied to cover his robbery so are sharing him criminality. How disgusting! Also this thief is also an addict so be careful.

Wtf. Out of nowhere. I think you should report it to the relevant authorities instead of writing it on youtube.
