I am not a pipe welder but I have ran portable welding repairs for a long time and this video just gave me a lot of ideas love your channel great content I watch it all the time
I've got a question.... How long do you guys get out of an engine drive machine? (ie, between using it to actually weld, power your tools and run the microwave during winter lunchtime, how many hours a day do you generally put on the machine?)
Hey, watch all your videos very interested in getting started in the type of work you do. Currently attending a welding trade school. What do I need to do to prepare myself for getting out into the pipe welding life? Eventually I want to buy a truck and rig it out as well.

That’s awesome! You should check out Magnum Reels to make your cable/wire/hose rolling more efficient.
Excited to see your next bed build. Your first build is how I ended up on your channel!!!
I like the brand of truck!!!! Nice rig set up I’m wanting to build a skid myself!
Looking forward to seeing the welding bed build for your new truck.
Too hard on an old man climbing up and down that beast all day
Good morning from Arizona! Let’s make some money today!!

What about changing the oil in your machine?
Nice rig 👍👍👍👍👍
Another great video, keep em coming
Where did the Gmc gasser go?
I have the same question.
Great video bro!
You gonna gonna build another bed for it eventually or just stick with the simple skid?
What you did for welding machine oil hose? Did you drill the bed ?
Nice setup
Very nice indeed 👍
When are you building the bed for this truck?
Do you have a dedicated section in the tool box with dividers for your rod boxes
How much these guys make.
Super sharp 👌!
What did you go for your pipeline education?
Awesome setup..
Do you have blueprints for the skid? If so would you sell the blueprints?
Raul Grimaldo did you get the prints?
Ethan E no I didnt
Why do you need oxyacetylene?
Can You put a step on side of truck to stand on to to fill welded and get in tool box
Squeaky clean
New truck?
You ever see guys rent a uhaul in a pinch? Looks funny but it gets the job done eh?
What size leads do you use?
I run #1 leads they seem to work really well for what I do. 125 feet on both the stinger and the ground,
That's awesum!!
Build a hitch step dude!
Awesome thanks
How many trucks do you have now? when and why did you get a regular cab?
Usually these guys get regular cans because the turning radius is better than a 4 door and that's good for turning around on the right away
@@dimestacker2731 Do you recommend a longbed though? What about a Ford with extracab, is that too long?
@@zeropoint7665 I do recommend a long bed but I think it all just boils down to personal preference
I'm too old and fat to be climbing up in that beast 14 times a day, gimme my flatbed anyday
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
i know its a pain in the ass but u really should be taking the valve off and putting a cover on that acetylene bottle before you drive anywhere
Do you need a helper I’m located in Houston I’m a certified welder
no not right now Mark. Thank you though
Were I live it’s illegal to lay your Oxygen bottles on their sides
