Nice to see you back mate! About time, lol...... And some new species to boot! Looks like a cracking spot. Cheers Rich 👍 - ( Get editing that LEO video mate... )
Thanks, mate. I'll see what I can do regarding the Leo video ;-)
Welcome back Phil. Great shots also 👏
Thank you, Gary 😀
Enjoyed your video, the Wader is a Snipe I think.
Thanks, Paul. With the benefit of hindsight and the chart on the wall in the hide behind me (I didn't even see it until the end!) I think you're right :-)
I would recommend Bradford on Avon for Kingfisher as they are very used to people, Westhay near Hamwall would be a great place for Marsh Harriers.
Thanks for the tips and comment. I'll definately investigate more about Westhay! Im aware of Bradford on Avon but I know it's a photographer's hotspot so it's not really my thing, I usually prefer to be alone.
Great to see you back Phil. Get a vid together mate. We know results are hard for Leo but its about the chase and the process, id love to watch it but you know that already lol
Thanks, Wayne. I've managed to cut the footage down from around 6 hours to 3 so far!, haha.
Can recommend Collins Bird Guide to birds of Britain and Ireland. I had the same issues identifying birds at Slimbridge
Thank you for the recommednation, John. I've just placed an order for it from Blackwell's Bookshop. :-)
Rainham Marshes are great for harriers
Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out if I'm round that way.
